I watched the pundits on television saying what happened in Massachusetts and why. From what I can see, it is peoples’ objections to the Louisiana Purchase, the Nebraska Compromise, and the deal made just for union members. These are criminal acts in the minds of many American citizens. The people consider this bribery and abandonment of the concept of equality of all. Their failure of including tort reform and being able to buy insurance across state lines to enable them to get a better price for their insurance needs is partly responsible for their great loss in Massachusetts. The people see how this administrations talks of the horrible insurance companies and pharmaceutical corporations, and yet they give them deals in closed-door sessions. There has to be a reason for the insurance companies and pharmaceutical corporations to back this health care bill. If you noticed, Martha Coakley, on her trip to Washington for campaign funds, met with some of these insurance and pharmaceutical people.
The Democrats mantra of transparency goes on even though they only met behind closed doors. The absence of sunlight tends to the growth of mushrooms and the Democratic health care bill is one of a poisoned variety. The Louisiana Purchase is another one of those poisoned mushrooms. The Nebraska Compromise is also poisonous. The most poisonous mushroom of all, by far, was the union mushroom. I say, these are the reasons that Brown was elected. This country was founded on fairness, and that sense of fairness still exists with the majority of Americans. This stops some of the nefarious actions by Congress, but arrogance still exists and nefarious acts will always be undertaken.
As far as the health care bill passing, I wouldn’t bet against it. I am sure that there has already been obscene offers made to RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) to insure the passage of this bill. Let’s hope that Mr. Brown goes to Washington has as much meaning as the movie Mr. Smith goes to Washington – played by Jimmy Stewart. I don’t think the Democrats gained much traction by putting down the town hall and tea party people. Putting down American citizenry does not engender trust. I would say, this is what the Hussein administration lacks more of than anything else – TRUST.
The giving of rights to terrorists in civilian trials was one of those trust-busters. Buying of votes is another trust-buster. Giving aid and comfort to the unions over other REAL Americans is a trust-buster. Blaming all of his mistakes on President Bush… another trust-buster. I am sure Bush was the one who had Socrates drink the Hemlock poison, helped Alexander the Great to defeat Persia, and had Nero burn Rome. I never heard President Harry Truman blame FDR for any of his policies, but put a sign on his desk “The buck stops here!” I never heard Eisenhower blame Truman for his failures. I never heard President JFK blame Eisenhower for his failures. I never heard LBJ blame JFK for his failures. This administration and all its cohorts have done nothing but blame all of their failures on President Bush.
Unless and until Hussein ever accepts his own failures, he will never be truly the Commander in Chief. Prosecuting CIA agents and Navy Seals after they have done their jobs and placed their lives on the line, they are prosecuted. Sure doesn’t build trust. His arrogance and ego will have to go before he ever gains the trust of the American citizens. If Hussein had had the American people in mind, he would have immediately changed the Democrats’ mindset against drilling for oil. It would help Americans with their expenses, help to improve our balance of payments and keep us from buying oil from foreign countries who don’t have America’s interest at heart, using part of that money to underwrite terrorism. The giving of rights to terrorists that is intended and provided for Americans is not only wrong, but foolish and stupid!
