Obama: False Idol With Feet of Clay?

His feet of clay will save the day?

His feet of clay will save the day?

The Pomp and Circumstance of Obama’s inauguration exceeds that which was expended when Queen Elizabeth ascended to the Crown of England and that which was expended during Princess Dianna’s wedding.  It has come very close to being idolatry.  Let’s just hope that Obama doesn’t become a false idol with feet of clay.  The media was very complicit in making the Presidency of Obama, and let’s hope they don’t regret their actions down the road.  Let’s also hope that Chris Matthews is able to get therapy for his leg.  I have always wondered what ran down his leg and if he was able to avoid embarrassment.

I know the liberal and moderate elitists would welcome a monarchy if they could be members of a royal court, people such as George Will, Peggy Noonan, and others of that ilk.  However, somewhere in this country would be a Madame Lafarge who would see to it that such did not happen.

During the life of this republic, we have gained in stature and power and compassion, while Europe went the other way.  Now, the liberals in this country want us to become more like Europe with socialism and wrapped up in their own small lives, endorsing any form of debauchery that people can envision.  They will continue to go down, and I am afraid as the values of the people in America decrease, so will this country go down.  This country was born and grown with the principals of the Ten Commandments, individual rights, compassion for their fellow man, with justice for all, and abiding faith in God.

There are forces trying to destroy this country from within, and if they are successful in their endeavor, it will spell the end of the greatest dream man ever had – freedom for all.  To this end, I think the women, especially of Afghanistan and all the Iraqi and Afghan people, are grateful to this nation and the lives that were given in the endeavor to free them, as should be the case for Europe.  How easily they forget.  You can see this in how they help with NATO and how they vote in the UN – even in how they perform their duties in the embargo on Iran.  If it hurts their pocket books, they choose to ignore the embargo.  With friends like these, who needs enemies?

I was willing to give Obama the benefit of the doubt.  However, something happened during the coronation of Obama that changed my mind – when a bunch of boorish, mindless Democrats booed Bush during the coronation of their god, Obama, and he could have silenced them with a wave of his hand, which he chose not to do.  You can’t build yourself up by putting someone else down.  At that time, I lost all respect for him as President.  I do respect him as a politician, of which he is a master.

The Republicans who expressed concerns for confirmation of a tax dodger for Secretary of Treasury and a nominee for Attorney General who believes in pardoning of terrorists and the FBIs most wanted criminal, Mark Rich, who traded and bargained with Iran while they held Americans hostage – are going to vote for them.  Makes me want to vomit.  I not only lost my respect for Obama, but I have also lost all my respect for the Republicans in Congress.  They are a bunch of wimps and I see no future for the Republican party until the majority of them have been replaced.  John McCain and his pimp, Lindsey Graham, have returned to the same old, same old.

The majority of Americans don’t respect the IRS, but fear it.  And here, a person who thumbs his nose at the IRS is going to be the head of it.  This, in itself, engenders fear.  The double standard is obvious and is another example of a more ethical country and ethical Congress espoused by Pelosi and Obama.  If this is more ethical, God forbid its continuation.

Oil and gas speculators

Oil and gas speculators

Something of note… lately, after all the under-handed dealings in the stock market and commodities market, and the useless SEC, there needs to be a position created to have someone look into their operations to keep them honest and to foil speculators undermining their government and their fellow citizens for GREED.  It was bad when Madoff did it to rich people, but not as bad as these greedy bastards doing it to the middle and lower class who didn’t invest for their own GREED.  A case in point is now that oil is going down and down in barrel price, the cost of gas is going up and up.  In this case, the GREED is only on one end – to steal from others.

The flags know what’s best for the U.S.

Are you superstitious?

Now that Hillary has brought out the fact that young people are concerned about global warming, what will she and Gore do when a few years go by and we move towards global cooling?  How will they deal with dis-enchanted young people, victims of the BIGGEST scam ever devised?  Is it any wonder that Clinton’s VP and his “stand by your man” wife are scam artists?  What else would you expect?

Just saw the flags falling as Hillary left the podium after a speech.  What does this signify and bode for this country if she should win the Presidency?  John McCain is an absolute hypocrite.  The McCain/Feingold Bill made a hole for 527s with no way of knowing the contributors.  Now he has one sponsored by Lindsey Graham who has always wanted to be McCain’s VP.  Now I hear another 527 is rearing its head for him in California.  Anyone who says 527s are not corrupt is trying to fool the public, just like Democrats are prone to do.

Just saw a Mike Huckabee video from when he was a governor in Arkansas.  Seems he likes any kind of tax.  Also, he was on the wrong side of the immigration problem – another one taken off my list with McCain, Ron Paul.  I hope the others fare better.

The Democratic Presidential candidates have finally started to entertain us.  It has been so boring watching Obama and Edwards going along with the coronation of Hillary as the standard bearer.  Until now, all we’ve had was Kucinich seeing UFO, Edwards getting a haircut, Biden not stooping to plagiarism, and Dodd moving to Iowa.  Now I am waiting for some more entertainment.  I expect hubby Bill will be the main source of same.  I understand he has taken up residence in Iowa.  Hillary better have her detectives on duty.  Let’s face it, Bill has to have his fun even if he has to fight women for it.  Besides which, he has many waiting and willing participants.  I guess Hillary is not only cold in the way she speaks, but apparently in other ways.  God help Bill – if he says something she doesn’t like, they will need the War Room.

I know NOTHING - NOTHING!

I see where McCain’s momma is speaking for him, Edward’s wife for him, Bill for Hillary – shades of Tipper.  I don’t know if any of them have hired someone to tell them how to dress, as Naomi Wolf did for Gore at $15,000 a month to make him an alpha male.  I have a feeling the Democrats will fail in their plans to arrive at a hegemonic society.  The changes they promised in the ’06 election have not only been short of completion, they have done NOTHING, NOTHING.  They remind me of Sargent Schultz in the movie Stalag 17 who always said “I know NOTHING – NOTHING!”  By the way, why can’t Hollywood make military movies like that instead of message movies by leftists in Hollywood?

May God bless the USA and save us from Hillary!

Stand and deliver?

After a couple of days listening to whining from the Republicans about how if only President Bush had replaced Rumsfeld prior to the election, they might have kept control of the Senate.  The answer lies with something else… the old part of the adage that says “when all about you are losing their heads, and blaming it on Bush”.

Guadalcanal ~ after driven out, we went back.  Would we NOW?

Some of the names that come to mind are Chuck Hagel, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, and Senator Warner.  These are a few, but there are others, and they know who they are.  None of President Clinton’s people turned on him to try to make a name for themselves and become closer to the Republicans, with an eye to their own interests (et tu Brutus).I noticed that now the election is over, some of the dirt on Jack Murtha comes out – even mention of Harry Reid’s land deals.  I wrote about these two and other Democrat rascals prior to the election, but never saw any of the Republicans coming out to draw the attention of these to the voters – a Republican message, fighting back against the false message of culture corruption, put out by the Democrats, which would have shown their corruption has always been far greater than the Republicans’ has.  Even the most inept President EVER, Jimmy Carter, got loyalty from his own party!  Anyone around at that time knows about the Carter administration’s culture of corruption.. look it up!

Now I come to the thing, that to me, is the most distressing… The generations who are now making these decisions for our country, and the future thereof, are hWill we ever see that shining city?ere with their freedoms which are a present from another generation.  Had they been of the same character as these generations, then they wouldn’t have had this vote to decide.  We would all be speaking German or Japanese.  Right after Guadalcanal, we would have pulled out, and gone down to ultimate defeat.

The eight years that Clinton spent as President, taking NO ACTION on ANYTHING, and COASTING, may be what these generations think is the way to go.  My opinion is that this is what caused the horror of 9/11, and should this type of governing continue, there will be many more of these types of horrors.  I don’t believe that there is enough strength of character now, that a request to win one for the gipper or for the next generation, will make any difference.

This is not the generation of “Give me liberty, or give me death” or “Stand and deliver” – God help the USA!

The noose getting tighter!!!

I heard someone on television talking about the fact that John McCain, John Warner,Politicians investigating themselves - where's the rope?? Lindsey Graham, and Susan Collins are challenging the use of many means of interrogation – was just a tempest and a teapot.  I beg to differ – I think it’s as important as the teapot dome scandal.

I think that John McCain has deliberately tried to breach any loyalty and responsibility to the Republican party to enhance his possibility of getting the nomination to run for President in 2008.  He will play the role of a hero once again (and believe me – he won’t let ANYONE forget!) to conjure a scheme to bring the fractured remains of the Republican party together, after he’s already torn his party apart.  As far as I’m concerned, as a Republican, voting since Dwight Eisenhower in 1956, that will NEVER happen.  If he won the primaries to become the party’s nominee, I will vote against him for the Democratic nominee, whoever she or he may be!

This turncoat, John McCain, is doing the Republican party more harm than any of the Democrats, whether Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Joe Biden, John Kerry, and all the rest.  By now, everyone knows that he was a P.O.W. and consequently a hero.  There were many P.O.Ws and heroes that got NO publicity, and some I would say got much less favored treatment, such as Sam Johnson.

The Japanese, with their Bataan Death March and interrogation methods, the Germans with their genocide, concentration, and death camps, the North Koreans, the Vietcong, the dragging of a dead American through the streets of Mogadishu, and you (John McCain) with your cohorts and the supreme court giving terrorists rights and privileges superior to those of American citizens and not treating these terrorists as saboteurs and spies – not wearing the uniform of any country, has left me with greater anger than I’ve ever had with any act of my government.

The Democrats blaming the price of gas on Bush when they won’t allow drilling in ANWR – one of Clinton’s vetos, putting great restrictions on drilling in any place else, placing burdonsome and unreasonable obstructions in the path of construction of refineries, is less maddening to me.

The machinations of the BP oil and gas companies efforts to increase the price of a barrel of oil is less maddening to me.

I know what John McCain’s and Lindsey Grahm’s motives are, but the motives of the other two (John Warner and Susan Collins) escapes and saddens me.  President Bush’s win against McCain in the primaries, despite all of McCain’s underhanded deeds to undermine President Bush since, along with the liberal news media and the blue state elites, has been the saving grace of this country!

I am sure, against the drive by John McCain, the Democrats, and the news media, that the Republicans will maintain control of the House and Senate, you might say against all odds.  I like the sound of that.

In closing, I will say the American people are much smarter than the politicians think theyGuess he (Gary Hart) found the rope! are, even though the politicians get away with much more than they should.  Given enough rope they will hang themselves.  For example: Al Gore, John McCain, John Kerry, Cynthia Mckinney, Jim Wright, Gary Hart, and other monkey business.

Also saw Chris Wallace beating up on John Negroponte and espousing McCain’s and the Democratic view on Sunday, pulling hard for McCain.  In my view, he and John McCain can go to perdition.  And putting American citizens and servicemen at risk is NOT patriotic.  Wallace also deemed necessary to show his support for these three (Warner, McCain, and Graham), stating they were in service and should know more than this administration.  Three brothers and myself served in World War II and Korea, and I wouldn’t say, as Chris Wallace inferred, that we have more rights to our opinions than the people in this administration trying to protect the American citizens and sevicemen from harm.  Oh where is the logic??

I have racked my brain to try to remember any program where John McCain’s name was mentioned as much.  The only program approaching this is Chris Matthew’s show.  I believe that you two must be in the same Democratic Fraternity!
