Chris Dodd and Kent Conrad got sweetheart deals from CountryWide through Fanny for their properties. On top of this, we have Charlie Rangel, crooked as hell and depriving poor people from getting a rent controlled apartment because he had four and he wasn’t even supposed to have any. He is not poor. He has property in many places that he doesn’t even pay taxes on. All of these crooks, and the Democrats gained control of the House and Senate in 2006 by vilifying Mark Foley. I watched the debate. Heard all kinds of lies from Joe Biden, and they weren’t stolen from Kinnock. If I were John McCain, I might be tempted to call Joe out and give him his choice of weapons. The media and Biden’s fellow Democrats talked about his grasp of issues. I thought he had a great grasp of lies and could tell them with a prowess that I’ve never seen from anyone else.
The newspapers and periodicals losing circulation and advertising does my heart good. I will be glad to see their final demise, especially the New York Times, LA Times, Boston Globe, TIME, NewsWeek, Salon, and others of that nature. All those mentioned are a nest of propagandists and deceivers who are an arm of the Democratic party and are trying to get Barack Hussein Obama elected. I know he causes tremors in the leg of Chris Matthews and he is God to Keith Olbermann, and that is why MSNBC will remain at the bottom of viewership. The viewership of ABC, NBC, and CBS is dropping and will continue to do so because of the way they twist the news and not report facts. They ought to be like Sergeant Friday - “Just the facts ma’am.”

Obama, you just keep on hammering your defeatist attitude and your woebegone picture of America. The only ones who will pay attention to this are those who want the government to care for them. I hate to tell Obama this, but the majority of Americans want to take care of themselves. Many of his supporters, and he himself, are practicing and are for class warfare. How he can fool his supporters when he himself is a millionaire is beyond me. I will say this - that the key to socialism is to keep all the people, except the elitist leaders who are to guide these common people for their own good, at a common level… somewhat similar to how the Democratic party has been to their supporters. Think about it and the approach that the Democratic leaders have taken to lead their followers now and in the past - that has been similar to a kindly old slave holder and how he treats his own.
The Democrats have played on peoples’ greed and “what’s in it for me” to maintain their hold on certain segments of society. The Democrats are very good on propaganda. For instance - how in the world could a one term senator with no experience obtain the Democratic Presidential nomination - a senator who has spent most of his first term running for President - prior to that, the experience of a community organizer consisting of, in many cases, belonging to a “Get out the vote” organization called ACORN of which members have been prosecuted for voter fraud. If I am not mistaken, Obama himself worked for ACORN as one of his community organizer duties. Why an organization such as this gets government funding is reprehensible to me!
Now let’s get to the mainstream media members and how they have been approaching their perceived duty to destroy Sarah Palin, McCain’s pick for his running mate. I watched Charlie Gibson’s interview with Sarah Palin. There was no doubt he felt himself to be far above and superior to Sarah Palin. His gotcha question with something he himself didn’t understand was unusually stupid, and he showed himself to be what he is - a Democratic hack with an agenda of his own. If I were McCain or Sarah Palin, I would not go on any talk show on ABC, NBC, MSNBC, or CBS. Even Fox’s Sunday evening show interviewer Chris Wallace is no doubt a Democrat and I wouldn’t even trust him.

Now is the summer of our discontent. The American people, overall, are not the kind to be kept down and have the hope of better things taken from them. Jimmy Carter told us to wear sweaters and settle for less. His unemployment and inflation figures were the highest ever. People were quite restive about that message he was putting out, and fortunately he was voted out. I wouldn’t say his foreign policy was too good either - when Iran was allowed to hold American citizens for a year.
There are two other people trying to hold Americans EVERYWHERE as hostages to their value of life, that the price of gas stays too high for the average American to enjoy a way of life that they have enjoyed for many years. These two people are Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, who I am sure do not lack funds to take limos, chartered flights, cabs and whatever. Are these two dictators able to stop other members in the House, 434 and 99 in the Senate?
Saw a list of campaign contributors on Investors Business Daily: NBC, $104,184.00 to Democrats - $3150.00 to Republicans … CBS, $45,508 to Democrats - $966.00 to Republicans … one of the surprising things: FOX, $40, 573 for Democrats - $0 for Republicans … FOX News Channel, $1280.00 to Democrats - $0 for Republicans. Shouldn’t this make Howard Dean happy?
During the 2004 campaign, the frenchman (John Kerry) had all of Europe for him, especially the French. What did it get him? I don’t think the American people want our policies to be determined by any European, Baltic, or Scandinavian countries. At least I hope they feel that way.
Senator Schumer says the Democrats are not interested in drilling for oil because they want to wean themselves off oil. Guess it doesn’t matter what us flyover country folks desire.
I notice that Democratic crooks are never called to account by their peers as Republicans are - for instance, Charlie Rangel, Chris Dodd, Kent Conrad, Jamie Gorelick, Franklin Raines, and Donna Shalala. What’s with that? How is that for “most ethical”?
I would like to know why poor people in the north get heating assistance, and yet the poor people in the hot areas of the south don’t get the same for air conditioning for their comfort.
Obama transfixed the Europeans during his trip with his oratory. How our allies have taken the position they have taken since we freed them from German oppression and our Marshall Plan to rebuild Germany, Japan, Italy, and England after World War II, when we expended so much blood and treasure for them - for their freedom is disgusting, and as far as I am concerned, unforgivable. Obama courting them is disgusting. One of the places he should have visited was Normandy American military Cemetary. It also wouldn’t have hurt to visit Auschwitz - also Birkenau concentration camp.

We are certainly not the same Americans as we were when King George told us to get use to the tea tax and stamp act. Then, the Americans said “Like HELL we will!” and we bought our freedom with blood and tears. Now King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia says to us, about the oil and gas prices “Get use to it!” If we were as we were then, we as a people in a country would say to him “Like HELL we will!” Then we would build a couple more refineries, drill for oil in ANWR and off the continental shelf and find ways to remove the oil easily from the shale out west. We would immediately start allowing nuclear energy plants to be built. The only thing that keeps us from taking this action are those who were in the minority when we won our freedom - and they took no part in that effort. Those now would be the Democrats and environmentalists, who are against drilling, nuclear energy, new refineries and insuring our energy needs are met for now and centuries to come. In the meantime, there is nothing wrong with continuing the research on solar, hydrogen, and wind power.
As you know, the most likely place for use of wind power is off of Cape Cod and was killed by Teddy Kennedy and the high society and wealthy Democrat environmentalists of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard - as is always the case… not in MY backyard. And of course, they don’t live in the neighborhood that we common people do. Then, of course, the size of their pocketbooks makes them less concerned with the costs of energy. Short years ago, John Kerry and a few other Democrats in Congress wanted to add .50 cents a gallon tax on gasoline to discourage us hillbillies from driving so much. Kerry was the one with the 7 SUVs being used in his search for the Presidency. When asked about this he said the SUVs were owned by his family, not by him. The Democrats are so concerned about the use of energy (accept for themselves) - *NOTE* Al Gore’s use of energy on his Tennessee estate.
Elitists Democrats are saying “Don’t do as I do - do as I say!” My wish is that the Democrats and environmentalists would join with the Republicans and start drilling our energy independence and thumb our noses at OPEC.

I need to speak on something while the politicians are belaboring the subject and the news media are trying to find news items about the subject to try to help Barrack Hussein Obama from this farce. Let’s face it, NewsWeek, New York Times, and the LA Times are all Obama operatives. Note their latest polls - do you suppose they are trying to sway opinion of voters by their use of phony polls? With their drops in circulation and losing money, I can hardly wait to see them depart the news scene, or as I should say Democratic operatives society. TIME, Chicago Tribune, News Day, and the Atlanta Journal & Constitution offer the same quality of non-bias reporting… aint that a hoot?!
Second subject is the $300 billion being acted upon by Congress as a giveaway program for scam artists, crooked mortgage brokers, and politicians with their hands out - case in point Chris Dodd, Kent Conrad, and I am SURE others. Had these people been republicans, a FULL investigation would be mounted with calls for their resignations. Somehow the Republicans in Congress seem like a bunch of wimps and cowards and unable to carry water for the Republican party. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the damn kitchen! A lot of these poor misguideds on the supposed mortgage crisis used the equity in their home as prices went up, living high on the hog, and then prices went down - no more equity, and now as the value decreases, we are to bail them out. Seems like gamblers in casinos - if they have been winning they are ok, but when they start losing, the taxpayers need to reimburse them… how VERY silly - not able to flip their house anymore… sad, sad.
Do you think this action by Congress might help CountryWide and other slimey companies? I do. With Chris Dodd and Kent Conrad working on the legislation, do you think this will help out CountryWide and others of the same ilk? I do.
Finally, one finding of the Supreme Court that is not trying to make policy or law on their own. Their support of the 2nd Ammendment was one of the very few findings of the Supreme Court that makes you think Supreme. The findings previously on Gitmo, giving rights as if they were citizens, to terrorists - then of course saying child molesters can’t be executed makes me want to call it the SLIME Court. There has only been one strong Constitutionalists judge placed in nomination by the President, and that was Judge Bork, and the Democrats went CRAZY. He was slimed and excoriated, and from this came the word “BORKED”, which means being treated unfairly, hatefully.
