Arrogance - Thy Name is Obama
During a commercial at another station, turned to MSNBC to get the democratic talking points. I was surprised to see a segment by the New York Times campaign edition. I was able to get many democratic talking points anyhow. Apparently, the democratic New York Times and the democratic MSNBC have joined forces. Should I be surprised? Of course not. NewsWeek has been a democratic carrier of news for some time - hired the originator of DailyKos. MSNBC, NewsWeek, and the New York Times have been losing readers and viewers dramatically for some time. Don’t you think the Obama campaign should pay them as well as all the campaign spots he puts out in other areas of media?
I was glad to see that the Gray Lady’s quarterly earnings were down 82%. I will be glad when the Gray Lady shows her true colors and goes dark. The only people who read the New York Times and watch MSNBC are rabid Democrats, and not even the most rabid. The real rabid Democrats read DailyKos, Moveon.org, Huffington Post, and other slimy outlets.
Oil and gas efforts by the oil companies have been stopped dead by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, and the majority of people harmed by the high prices for gas at the pump are those in flyover country, and these are people who are mostly ignored by all the politicians. I would hope that all those in flyover country would call their representative and Senator (plus Nancy and Ole Harry) and let them know what you feel about this. Someone has to take on the Democrats and environmentalists, in their unpatriotic fervor,to keep this country from becoming completely independent on energy, and that does not set well with the U.N. lovers and those who want an international flavor to our country, even if it’s a detriment to our country.
The Republicans in Congress and any Democrats who want to lower prices of gas, get behind the small town of Elk Point, South Dakota with their desires to get their new refinery on line that will process 400,000 barrels of oil daily from our next door neighbor Canada with their tar sands. I would think this would be good for NAFTA. Efforts should be made by the Republicans to take away the obstacles that the Democrats and environmentalists will place in their way, as usual. Also, they should try to encourage other towns to follow Elk Point’s lead.

Gift That Keeps On Giving: Hillary and Obama Neck and Neck!
The Republican party has serious problems, but in comparison with what is happening in the Democratic party, they are in good shape. The greatest gift a political season has ever handed to the Republican party is happening now with Obama and Hillary running neck and neck. I can just imagine what will happen at their convention. Too bad it wasn’t in Chicago, then we could really have a rerun of that convention. Wouldn’t that be lovely? Those super delegates will be absolutely the final straw for the Democratic party. They didn’t exist in 1968. Can you imagine what that convention would have been like if they had? Those who don’t know what happened at the Democratic convention in 1968 should look it up by all means.
The Congress acted quickly and got a stimulus package out in record time - something this country really didn’t need, but some of the actions they should take have been put off and put off. What I refer to is the terrorist surveillance program that they are fighting over. Seems the Democrats want to let lawyers at the phone systems that cooperated with the CIA for freedom’s sake and the safety of American citizens prior to the time they were given permission to do this. The Democratic party loves lawyers and the dissension they sow. One of the major things wrong with this country is the judicial system and how they allow lawyers to file lawsuits on any and everything. It is a drawback on business and government. Lawyers are in the league with CEOs of major corporations as to how much money they can can soak the stockholders with and private citizens treated the same way by lawyers. Is there any wonder that the legislative branch has more lawyers than any other profession? We not only have lawyers here trying to screw up America, but we also have idiot lawyers going to other countries to defend people like Saddam. As far as I can see, the major things wrong with law in this country is lawyers.
Now I even saw an idiot lawyer all upset because the six terrorists are being tried by the military and being done in GITMO. Even if it was military personnel doing crimes out of the country or within the military bases and no citizens were involved, they would also be tried by the military on bases or overseas. Are the terrorists so much better than our servicemen? After the terrorists are tried, if they don’t get death sentences, they ought to send them to Fort Leavenworth, the same as our servicemen would be. Don’t think they would last long. There is another military prison in Portsmouth. They could send them there.

The fear they have of Romney is merited because the future may just pass them by, and they have never seen past the end of their nose. The old boy mentality of Washington exists and will continue to exist until an outsider comes in and plows some new ground. As you know, new ground has a variety of obstacles, and this would be true of our old boy Congress and Senate.
I hear all the Democratic analysts saying that the Republican Conservatives have no choice but to come to McCain’s aid in the election. They are feeling real good about McCain’s chances because they know that whether Hillary or McCain wins, they will have one of their own in power. It will spell the end of the Republican party. Talk about happy, big smiles on their faces!
I would like to bring to your attention the National Organization of Women. They are so upset by Teddy Kennedy backing Obama instead of a woman, they feel abandoned and full of despair. We know how they back women. Look at how they fought for Monica Lewinsky, Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones, and others that the Clintons described as “Bimbo eruptions”. The women of this country can feel so safe with NOW protecting them, unless Bill Clinton wants to use them and/or have his way with them while Hillary looks on as she is controlling him.
The statement she made that she could control him becomes a laughing matter. I think even the Democrats are beginning to see through the veil that they themselves established around the Clintons and tried to protect them from the world view for their serious flaws. They both remind me of Dorian Gray and the Democrats are looking in the closet at the mirror, finally.
Now I will go in a direction that is the third rail in many ways. I do not believe the Democrats are patriots. I think they are interested in destroying the country. For instance:

Hear Ye - Let the Old Guard Go and Let the Future Happen
I will start with an old adage: It depends on whose Ox is gored. Let’s carry this forward and visualize the country as everyone’s Ox. Then it depends on what politician will gore the Ox worse, or maybe someone who will protect the Ox. In my opinion Mrs. Clinton and John McCain would gore the Ox in a more harmful manner, and frankly I don’t want my Ox to be harmed in any way.
Turned to MSNBC on Saturday morning. Caught the Morning Joe program. There was one of their supposed journalists named David Schuster - I thought he was going to have a stroke defending Mrs. Clinton and defending Bill’s right to attack candidates running against Mrs. Clinton because he LOVES her. If he loved her, he wouldn’t be running around with his fly open and a gleam in eyes. What he really wants is to be President again through Mrs. Clinton. The morals of this country degenerated badly during his first eight years. Do you want it to be completely demolished by another four years of the Clintons?
Another endorsement for John McCain from a liberal rag in Philadelphia’s. These Democrats sure love John McCain. No wonder - he is one of them, working as a mole in the Republican party. Maybe leopards can’t change their spots, but McCain is sure trying. He talks of Romney being a flip-flopper, however, he is the master of flip-flopping. He reminds me of a cat, during his campaign, busily burying his mistakes. He may bury them, but they are still very smelly to me.
The Democrats are standing by clapping their hands and shouting encouragement. McCain can’t cover up his depriving people of free speech with the McCain/Feingold Act. He can’t cover up his votes against the Bush tax cuts by saying they should be extended. He is undoubtedly a flip-flopper. He can’t cover up his helping the Democrats to make Bush’s judicial nominees subject to filibuster. He can’t cover up his participation in the Keating Five efforts to clear Keating, who used his savings and loans to steal billions, depriving many retirees and citizens of their life’s savings. McCain received thousands of dollars from Keating towards his campaign and was a house guest of Keating in the Bahamas, and he talks of campaign finance reform - ain’t that a hoot?

Turn the Other Cheek for Another Little Tear - It Works!
Surprising results from the New Hampshire election - so many talking heads and pollsters showing their vast knowledge to be not so vast. We know that the New Hampshire voters are not racists, or are they? And are they, in many cases, anti-Mormon? I will venture to expound on my views of what happened to destroy the media and pollsters with Hillary’s win.
I can tell Obama what caused this by the words from a song “A little bitty tear let me down” by Burl Ives. Seems that things were going along swimmingly, and then Hillary showed her human side with a little cry. The womens hearts in New Hampshire filled with compassion and they flocked to her side. There is no doubt that from now on, she will show her softer feminine side and fill the hearts of women voters with “We must care for one of our own.” I don’t think that is the way Margaret Thatcher or Goldie Meir were elected to their office, but I could be wrong. Their elections were not in this day of political correctness.
I guess the Democrats want to go back to the days of “Turn the other cheek” that was practiced during Bill’s days in the White House, as happened with our embassies, the Cole, and the first attack on the World Trade Center. That was not the way Margaret Thatcher and Goldie Meir practiced as heads of state. After seeing the results of this election and the previous one in Iowa, I am even more convinced that there may very well be the election of the candidate made at both the Republican and Democratic conventions.
The threats in the Middle East, including Israel, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran, with their desire to cause problems by using provocations against our U.S. Navy ships in the straits of Hormuz, not only that, but Syria and Lebanon, makes me glad we have Bush as our Chief of State and Commander in Chief and not any of those currently running for President. None have proved to me, as of yet, that they merit being the Commander in Chief. I hope down the road I will see one of these show me their mettle.
McCain if full of braggadocio and talking about his P.O.W. experience to promote sympathy and making comments about his military service, however, what I wonder is will he consult Kennedy and Feingold and the Democrats before taking action because he wants to work with the peaceniks across the aisle. Huckabe, using religion to get votes, has really turned me off, and even though I am a southern Baptist, I have enough presence of mind to not let religion influence my vote for my country’s sake, and those that do make me ashamed of those that allow this to happen.

While this fiasco election, called Iowa State Caucus, is unfolding, this date I will write about a few other things.
The Democratic Congress is starting off the new year in their usual way - no legislation, but lots of investigations. They did this all through 2007 and now are continuing into 2008. They are now after CIA agents who might have used some unusual methods to gain information from terrorists to save American lives. That doesn’t matter to the Democrats. All they want to do is take away all tools available to secure our safety and to embarrass the Republican party. They have ruined many lives by their allegations, which they use as weapons, whether based in fact or not.
We know how they participated in helping Bill ruin the lives of Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick, and lie straight out to the American people about Monica Lewinsky. And he also lied to the Grand Jury. And boy do they cover for their own - Jack Murtha, Alcee Hastings, Barney Frank, the Cold Cash Kid (William Jefferson), and then they go with vigor to attack Republicans for any and everything. One instance of this is Senator Conrad Burns, who was defeated due to their allegations and long knives, but has been cleared of all allegations.
The politics of energy has reared its ugly head. Constantly during the past few years, no action has been taken except subsidizing crops that can be used for ethanol, which will make these crops too high in price for the farmers feeding out beef, pork, chicken, etc. It will represent the highest grocery prices ever and will hurt, drastically, poor families, but will make the environmental nuts feel good and will not hurt them because they are in the main, children of liberal activists with wealth, and have never faced any real obstacles. In other words, they are rich brats, such as Robert Kennedy Jr. and Al Gore.
If congress was really concerned, they could open up Alaska and use the oil shale in the western states. This would help, immeasurably, our balance of payments and would lower the deficit. There will be no action taken on this by Congress. It’s the same as the social security problem, which they will not touch.

I am eagerly awaiting the debate on Thursday for the Democratic Presidential candidates. I guess by now Hillary has a list of the questions and who is to be asked what. What else can Wolf do? He has been warned “Don’t pull a Russert, or else!” Look for her to knock the ball out of the park this time. I know we all hope so. Obama and John better be ready for some very embarrassing questions with political consequences.
Hillary has changed her laugh, her voice modulation, and all kinds of mannerisms to please her Democratic constituents. Will it work? We will see. The Democrats are still trying to snatch defeat out of victory, even with a bill they are working on today. Their worst nightmare is coming true. Iraq is turning around, and as one of the Congressmen said “If Iraq is considered to be becoming a Democracy, we will suffer in the election.” Wouldn’t that be sad?
I see where the question Hillary couldn’t answer has been settled by the New York citizens - no licenses for illegals. Let’s face it, the reason many people want this is to make possible voter fraud. Think back to all the efforts to use voter fraud by the Democrats in the past - signing up voters who didn’t exist and so forth. We know the majority of the American public are for enforcing our laws and making the border secure, however, the Democratic political machine do not really want this because they want to encourage Latinos to get amnesty and be another pawn of their political machine, as they have used other minorities. So, I would suggest that the questions posed to the Democratic candidates should include some as to their views on immigration.
One thing we know for sure - the Clintons always have the Chinese vote served up and they vote with their wallets. I guess they’re still grateful for the technology Bill gave them.
I don’t believe I heard Bush say one of the new Attorney Generals duties were to enforce the border. He listed all kinds of things he was responsible for. He didn’t mention his duties to enforce cities, towns, and states to follow federal law as pertains to sanctuary and not allowing federal laws to be enforced by their local authorities. The immigration department is the most inadequate and bribe-ridden department of the government, and that includes Congress. All candidates from both parties should be asked for their plan to save social security and solve the immigration problem. If they don’t want to do that, but talk in generalities, they should be ignored. What I would be interested in is if the Congress would pass a law making English the nation’s language. Make laws enforcing the federal laws that are being IGNORED, making sure they are to be followed or all government funds shall be withheld from cities, towns, and states not complying fully.

Am going to talk about the worst problem this country faces. It’s like location, location, location - instead it’s immigration, immigration, immigration. My vote will go to the candidate who I envision as the strongest opponent of illegal immigration. Illegal immigration and its ramifications are the greatest threat that this country faces - more dangerous than terrorism or a Democratic Presidential administration. They are breaking the health care system of this country, closing hospitals, and setting up Hillary’s socialized medicine approach. They are destroying any way at all to set budgets by the states or federal government.
The corrections department throughout this country are having tremendous costs placed on them. Gangs of illegals run rampant throughout the prisons and cities all over the country - gangs like MS 13, Mexican illegals - allowed to be in existence by law enforcement because of the way they use our laws to avoid prosecution, helped in large part by our liberal judges MAKING LAW, not enforcing laws.
Now the International Court of inJustice at the Hague is telling us we have over 50 cases of Mexican rapists, murderers and so forth that need to be tried again because their consuls were not advised. Bush seems to want the International Court to have jurisdiction and is arguing for it to apply before our U.S. Supreme court. If our Supreme court gives in to the Hague, our Democracy is DOOMED. The U.N. and international movements to undermine our rule of law by the people is as dangerous as Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda, with all their evil, towards our society. Complacency is the most insidious danger we face at this time, and it must be overcome.
The Kyoto Treaty was approved by this government, but thank God the Senate voted against it! Now the government wants to approve the International Treaty of the Sea. I sincerely hope this Senate votes against that also. In fact, I am very fearful that the Democrats and their love of the U.N. will allow further encroachment by foreign countries in our governing ourselves. We fought the Revolutionary War to be allowed to govern ourselves, and I am not for giving away that right to ANY entity. Cities and towns all over the U.S. are trying to solve the immigration problem on their own because the federal government is FAILING to ENFORCE the laws.
When I hear some politicians saying “We are a nation ruled by law”, I want to VOMIT! I have agreed with Bush on most of his efforts, HOWEVER, on immigration, dealing with Mexico, Law of the Sea Treaty, and wanting to bow to the International Court of Justice at the Hague - he is uninformed and following Democratic policies - not Republican policies.

Cities giving IDs and drivers licenses to illegals - are they trying to invite another 9/11? Maybe the next time it will be in San Francisco - perhaps their city hall. Wouldn’t that be a blast? Sorry for the pun. The Democrats preach tolerance for illegal immigrants. Tolerance is not the same as rule of law and strength in government. I say if the United States government cannot enforce their own laws in this country, they should hang up their hat. Allowing cities, towns, and states to either subvert the laws of immigration, or participate in breaking the law, how can we expect Iraq to govern itself?
The liberals are even using the Constitution to try to prove their message that God should not appear in anything. We should be a completely secular nation. I would argue against this with these arguments. The signers of the Declaration of Independance were not athiests or Muslims. Church attendance was almost 100% in the first colonies. Words like divine providence and our creator were used extensively. The signers pledged their lives and fortunes in their efforts to achieve freedom, and in many cases lost BOTH.
The Democrats would have the United Nations to ensure our freedom. Look at how they have solved the problems in Burma, Sudan, Lebanon, and countries in Africa. This staff the Democrats would lean on is nothing but graft and corruption, with Russia and China ruling the security council. It seems the major concern of the United Nations is how to condemn Israel, use tactics to undermine the United States and its interests, allowing Iran and North Korea to thumb their noses at the world. If we were not in the United Nations, we would receive the same cooperation as we do now - NONE. We’d also save ourselves a great sum of money.
If Hillary wins the Presidency, I am sure she will fight terrorism as her husband did. In other words, not at all. Why do you think Pockets Berger stole those documents? They documented Clinton’s failures. The Democratic Congress is making every effort to make us abandon Iraq for their political purposes as they did with Vietnam. The trouble they’ve started with Turkey was purposeful to keep our military from using routes through Turkey to make it easier for our logistics required for our efforts in Iraq. I used to think Democrats were patriots also, just misguided. But I no longer think that. Wouldn’t it be nice instead of making trouble, they would turn their efforts to the nation’s needs?
Presidential candidates need grilling!
It’s time the Presidential candidates were pressed to explain exactly what they would do about the illegal immigration problem. We know the illegals have an extensive lobby in Congress, no doubt underwritten by funds, in many cases from dope smugglers, Mexican government, and large vegetable growers in California. Because of the extent of this lobby, candidates should be required to give their views on paper as to the actions they will take upon election.
Of course before they do this, they will have to take some polls and set up a focus group to tell them what to say. While doing this, they may as well find out what they should say and what they would do about Iraq, what they would do about healthcare, about taxes, about ethics in government - would they have someone to head off bimbo eruptions? What would they do with their interns? Also, would they have the ability to destroy those bimbos who had the audacity to erupt during these critical times? It would also be important for them to have a very loud, obnoxious, voluble, bald headed southerner to spread his spittle around during his outbursts.
One of the most important things to consider about choosing the next President is without a doubt, the security and protection of the American people. This has a direct bearing on how they feel about using satellite images for border and crime control. How did they vote on the Patriot Act, or how would they have voted? What would they do about Iran’s building of nuclear weapons? Would they put Americans at risk to please Europe? Are they paranoid about what the rest of the world thinks about us? Are they for giving terrorists in Gitmo American citizen rights? Do they want CIA, FBI, and law enforcement agencies to not be allowed to share information as in the recent past? Do they want to build schools just for Muslims? Do they want to construct foot baths for Muslims in schools, institutions, and public buildings throughout the country? Are they peaceniks willing to sacrifice American freedom for world respect?
In other words, would you rest in peace if they were elected? Now the DNC punishes Florida for setting up their primary day. However, this forwarding of the primary was done by the Republican dominated legislature. This act of ‘punishing’ Democratic voters may just backfire. They may be so ticked off, that Florida will become an unconditional red state. Take that Howie Dean. May God bless the USA.
