CIA Documents, NIE Reports - Do-Nothing Congress Farce
This is similar to the Democratic party covering up the fact that they have had no legislation by having investigations, and then investigations. I guess they think as long as it keeps moveon.org, dailykos, and Huffington Post happy, they don’t have to do their jobs. A lot of the investigations Congress does is all for show with no intention of taking any action, as with the banks and credit card companies and the usurious rates of interest they charge. Congress has allowed this to happen, and they will continue to let it happen. Then when the banks get into trouble with their actions, they bail them out. All you hear from Congress is from their Committee Chairmen and their attacks and pontification about their investigation of the awful Republican administration and anything that MAY have happened.

The submitted NIE report is one of the most detrimental issues ever brought before the American and world attention. And those involved with this report, with the help of people that are of the same persuasion, are those who gave the New York Times classified information to print. I give this group of 16 intelligence agencies the same incertitude as I give the 9/11 commission, which is the same as I give all those committees investigating anything and everything just to get their faces and voices on television. All they are is a bunch of giant egos popping out of their skins. If only they would attend to their legislating of the country’s business.

Personally I am very glad that the CIA tapes were destroyed before some renegade CIA Democrat leaked them to the New York Times. I would take great pleasure in finding out who these disloyal CIA agents were that leaked the stories to The Times. The CIA apparently has not been able to arrive at a program that eliminates a possibility of political actions by agents. They even allowed an al-Qaeda mole in their organization. I would say they need to re-investigate all personnel in their employ.
I haven’t seen or heard of any attempt to uncover the persons involved in those security leaks. They are not Democrats like Pockets Berger, so you would think the Democratic Congress wouldn’t object to finding out who they were - or were they Democrats? If only Congress would work on some legislation with all the passion they show in their appearances on TV, expounding on this CIA infraction. If only they would attend to their own infractions in the same manner - wouldn’t it be nice?
I believe there is one Senator named Patrick Leahy who was caught leaking intelligence and had to leave the intelligence committee in 1985. Now he’s called “Leaky Leahy”. Also, now he is head of the Judiciary Committee. I guess he got a slap on the wrist, as he is one of the good ol’ boys.
I watched the exciting Republican debate conducted by that liberal zombie who made it about anything but what the Republicans thought the key issues were of the day - Iraq and illegal immigration. Do you suppose she was a Democrat in any life she might have ever had? I have been watching all the debates and candidates during this election. What I want most to hear is action taken on energy, not empty talk - someone who wants to drill in ANWR, process the oil from the shale out west, and be serious about not sending billions to the Arab oil producing countries to continue our dollar problem. Also, be clear on the English language only in our schools and job market. Whoever asserts these actions firmly will have MY vote.
Huckabee says how he was able to out-fox the Clinton machine in Arkansas. I hate to say it, but seems a lot of them rubbed off on Huckabee. Like his statement about the devil and Jesus being brothers in the Mormon religion, and then taking it back and apologizing to Romney after it had already done its damage - how Clintonesque. Same as some Clinton Democrat said about Obama’s drug use as a youth and then apologized to Obama after the DAMAGE has been done. Seems Huckabee learned the Clinton’s dirty tricks! I guess no one paid attention to Huckabee’s born in a cabin statement. At least he didn’t say log cabin. Huckabee is still using his faith to buy votes. I don’t believe the Bible encourages this practice. Way to go PREACHER!

Am going to talk about the worst problem this country faces. It’s like location, location, location - instead it’s immigration, immigration, immigration. My vote will go to the candidate who I envision as the strongest opponent of illegal immigration. Illegal immigration and its ramifications are the greatest threat that this country faces - more dangerous than terrorism or a Democratic Presidential administration. They are breaking the health care system of this country, closing hospitals, and setting up Hillary’s socialized medicine approach. They are destroying any way at all to set budgets by the states or federal government.
The corrections department throughout this country are having tremendous costs placed on them. Gangs of illegals run rampant throughout the prisons and cities all over the country - gangs like MS 13, Mexican illegals - allowed to be in existence by law enforcement because of the way they use our laws to avoid prosecution, helped in large part by our liberal judges MAKING LAW, not enforcing laws.
Now the International Court of inJustice at the Hague is telling us we have over 50 cases of Mexican rapists, murderers and so forth that need to be tried again because their consuls were not advised. Bush seems to want the International Court to have jurisdiction and is arguing for it to apply before our U.S. Supreme court. If our Supreme court gives in to the Hague, our Democracy is DOOMED. The U.N. and international movements to undermine our rule of law by the people is as dangerous as Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda, with all their evil, towards our society. Complacency is the most insidious danger we face at this time, and it must be overcome.
The Kyoto Treaty was approved by this government, but thank God the Senate voted against it! Now the government wants to approve the International Treaty of the Sea. I sincerely hope this Senate votes against that also. In fact, I am very fearful that the Democrats and their love of the U.N. will allow further encroachment by foreign countries in our governing ourselves. We fought the Revolutionary War to be allowed to govern ourselves, and I am not for giving away that right to ANY entity. Cities and towns all over the U.S. are trying to solve the immigration problem on their own because the federal government is FAILING to ENFORCE the laws.
When I hear some politicians saying “We are a nation ruled by law”, I want to VOMIT! I have agreed with Bush on most of his efforts, HOWEVER, on immigration, dealing with Mexico, Law of the Sea Treaty, and wanting to bow to the International Court of Justice at the Hague - he is uninformed and following Democratic policies - not Republican policies.

It’s time the Presidential candidates were pressed to explain exactly what they would do about the illegal immigration problem. We know the illegals have an extensive lobby in Congress, no doubt underwritten by funds, in many cases from dope smugglers, Mexican government, and large vegetable growers in California. Because of the extent of this lobby, candidates should be required to give their views on paper as to the actions they will take upon election.
Of course before they do this, they will have to take some polls and set up a focus group to tell them what to say. While doing this, they may as well find out what they should say and what they would do about Iraq, what they would do about healthcare, about taxes, about ethics in government - would they have someone to head off bimbo eruptions? What would they do with their interns? Also, would they have the ability to destroy those bimbos who had the audacity to erupt during these critical times? It would also be important for them to have a very loud, obnoxious, voluble, bald headed southerner to spread his spittle around during his outbursts.
One of the most important things to consider about choosing the next President is without a doubt, the security and protection of the American people. This has a direct bearing on how they feel about using satellite images for border and crime control. How did they vote on the Patriot Act, or how would they have voted? What would they do about Iran’s building of nuclear weapons? Would they put Americans at risk to please Europe? Are they paranoid about what the rest of the world thinks about us? Are they for giving terrorists in Gitmo American citizen rights? Do they want CIA, FBI, and law enforcement agencies to not be allowed to share information as in the recent past? Do they want to build schools just for Muslims? Do they want to construct foot baths for Muslims in schools, institutions, and public buildings throughout the country? Are they peaceniks willing to sacrifice American freedom for world respect?
In other words, would you rest in peace if they were elected? Now the DNC punishes Florida for setting up their primary day. However, this forwarding of the primary was done by the Republican dominated legislature. This act of ‘punishing’ Democratic voters may just backfire. They may be so ticked off, that Florida will become an unconditional red state. Take that Howie Dean. May God bless the USA.

Just caught snippets from the Democratic debate in Chicago - Hillary criticizing Obama for his statement on Pakistan is the heighth of hypocrisy. It wasn’t long ago she was inquiring about ‘plan b’ - if we left Iraq, insisting she’d be told. Tell me the difference in damage to our interests as far as our military is concerned. I know she is the darling of the liberal media, but they can’t possibly justify all of the stupid statements she makes and her compelling need to blame the right-wing conspiracy for everything that is a detriment to her ambitions.
If you remember, she blamed the right-wing conspiracy for Monica Lewinsky, Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick, and Kathleen Willey. Hillary was also the mother of FileGate and TravelGate. She made sure Vince Foster’s office was kept secure from investigations for matters as concerned his death. She also headed a secret committee to socialize health care. Makes you wonder about how she would fulfill her duties as Commander in Chief when she voted against the new phone surveillance act. There has never been any doubt about how the Clintons felt about the military. Her husband’s pardoning of 16 terrorists also tells us something.
Another incident of murders by an illegal immigrant - it will never end! I wonder if this changed a few minds in Newark of those who had believed illegals should be allowed to stay here. Because of all the states trying to solve their own illegal immigration problem, the U.S. government is finally using the current laws to some extent. I say when caught, send them ALL to Vermont to become JUDGES. Perhaps then, justice MIGHT be served in that state. I heard a liberal on tv news saying that our poor illegal immigrants were finding it hard to find employment because of the slow-down in construction and the government being FORCED to start ENFORCING the immigration laws (HOW SAD!!!!). Do you think this might encourage them to go back home? The Democrats are trying to pass laws to help support illegals as in the recent agriculture bill, which I am sure Bush will veto. I think the Democrats seeking election or re-election should be punished by the taxpayer citizens with their votes.
The gays showed their clout last night by having the Democratic Presidential candidates come preening before them. True to their nature, they said what the gays wanted to hear. What else would you expect from candidates who talk with forked toungue, or as some say, from both sides of their mouth?

The 110th Congress has left me with a very bad taste in my mind, and my disgust is at a level that it has not been in awhile. What the Democratic Congress did on Thursday night, when they pirated a bill and changed the vote to suit them was putred. The fact that they are taking from seniors, veterans, and legal citizens to give monies and aid to illegal aliens is not diabolical, it’s just stupid. I am sure that President Bush will veto this bill, but the fact that this was tried by this Congress will not go over well with the American people. I hope that American citizens use phones, email, and any other means available to let Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, Jack Murtha, and the rest of the Democratic idiots of the 110th Congress know how they feel about stealing money from deserving Americans to support and encourage illegal immigration.
After this debacle, I am sure the Congressmen, that were defeated after being so adamant about enforcing immigration laws in the last election, could get re-elected this time. I hope that the American citizens use the opportunity of the next election to take this majority party to the minority. I don’t see how any reasonable or logical thinking person could accept what this 110th Democratic Congress did and have done in this session. If the Republicans don’t use this Thursday night powerplay to ensure that illegal immigrants don’t get aid and comfort at the expense of needy American citizens, then they should be the minority party.
If I were a leader of the Republican party, I would be preparing an ad for tv showing how the Democrats are using chicanery to deprive seniors, vets, and needy Americans of benefits, to give aid and comfort to illegal immigrants. I would show the bully and an unidicted co-conspirator in an FBI sting, Jack Murtha, for what he was - using his usual tactics. I can’t believe that the Democrats think the American public is open to underwritng the illegal immigrant movement. I know they want latino votes, but I think this action will lose them more votes than they will gain - at least I hope so.
I got a kick out of how Hillary and Obama are arguing about campaign contributions by News Corp, the parent company of Fox News, which all Democrats despise.

Chuck Schumer and Patrick Leahy outraged at Attorney General Gonzales, saying he possibly committed perjury. I remember when Clinton committed perjury and did so as well to the entire country and Schumer and Leahy made excuses for him. This sure seems like the Senators don’t believe in equal treatment under the law. I think their whole lives are a perjury of conscience. Where were they when Attorney General Reno had 86 people killed at Waco? A mother and child were killed at Ruby Ridge, and she authorized an attack on a Cuban family in Miami. These two separate but unequal treatments of the other party are not only partisan, but obscene and disgusting.
I would like someone in the news media to list daily the amount of investigation the Democratic Congress and Senate are persuing. I am sure it would be a record amount for any Congress EVER. They apparently have other matters they could attend to, but aren’t doing so. Talk about the culture of corruption. Look at old Harry, Jack Murtha, William Jefferson, and others. They haven’t passed their much heralded ethics law yet, and they are also seeing to it that earmarks or pork are not easily obtained by the public. Talk about a culture of corruption.
Is there a conspiracy by the courts and the government to keep the immigration laws from being enforced? A judge keeps Hazleton, Pennsylvania from enforcing their anti-illegal immigration laws. This also affects other towns who’ve passed the same laws. They don’t seem to mind cities and towns breaking the law and declaring themselves sanctuaries. Do we have Homeland Security Department? Do we have a government that encourages illegal immigration for the benefit of employers and have no intention of enforcing the current laws? I don’t know why Janet Reno, with her violent acts, couldn’t have solved this problem.
I am at a loss to figure out why anyone would vote for a Democrat. They are always putting the American public at risk. They are against the Patriot Act, and against wire surveillance of terrorists. They also want to give citizens rights to the terrorists in Gitmo. They are the ones who, at one time, forbade the CIA and FBI to work together or with local police. I wouldn’t be surprised if that wasn’t what caused the 9/11 terrorists attacks on the World Trade Center. You’ve heard the expression “Nero played while Rome burned” - Clinton played with Monica while the U.S. was put in danger and attacked with NO retaliation.
Once upon a time, America was….
Once upon a time there was a country called America. In this country, there was pride in self and pride in country. Everyone was expected to follow the laws and be willing to value and protect their country. Unfortunately, that is not this time. Now we are in a time of hate and political correctness, and God forbid we should have a need for everyone to rally to their country’s defense at this time.
Now we are in a period of self-gratification and condemnation of anything that displeases us. For instance, now we have politicians that are so much smarter than President Bush, his cabinet, and his complete group of advisers, or at least that’s what they think. A majority of the House and Senate, prior to the Iraq war, were espousing the act of war against Sadaam’s regime. When it didn’t turn out well, now it’s Bush’s fault. Had the insurgency not been there and their search for democracy had been successful, they would’ve been patting each other on the backs, and Bush wouldn’t have been given any credit.
Other instances… the bombing of the Murrah building in Oklahoma and the first attempt
to bring down the World Trade Center, both during the Clinton Administration and were just acts of sabotage. Since the planes flew into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, they say it was done by our own government - Bush’s fault. Has anyone ever wondered if Pockets Berger took documents showing that the Clinton Administration had ADVANCE WARNING of this attack coming? Does anyone have any faith or confidence in the 9/11 commission report? Ain’t that a shame.
Now we have a flurry of action being taken about immigration. There are laws on the books that if they were enforced, would take care of this problem. No administration has ever seriously given any effort to correct the illegal immigration problems. President Reagan gave up, capitulated, and gave amnesty. Since then, no President has bothered to do anything about immigration. All that needs to be done is enforce the laws. It seems that anyone who makes a real effort to solve these problems has a U.S. Attorney named Johnny Sutton put them in jail. The head of the Immigration Department should be replaced by someone who will carry out the laws, have an investigator weed out the bribe takers, and make unannounced raids on chicken and other meat processing plants, as well as big building contractors - heavily fine the people who are hiring the illegals, and give them some jail time. Take the illegals on buses to the Mexican border as soon as they are picked up. Let’s face it, giving jail time to the people who hire illegals and flaunting this in the news media constantly will soon take care of the problem. One other way would be to deport the complete family of any
immigrant with fake papers to show they are legal for hire.
