Obama: Fun In New York City – They’ll Vote For Him Again

Obama's handlers always "on call".  BlackBerry and Tele-prompter make Obama a dull boy!

Obama's handlers always "on call".  BlackBerry and Tele-prompter make Obama a dull boy!

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself, and Obama is making sure that we have plenty of that.  That is not emanating from Obama himself but from his handlers, George Soros, MoveOn.org, DailyKos, Huffington Post, and the unions.  I would imagine that his number one button on his BlackBerry would be to George Soros, number two is the President of the UAW, and number three to the ACLU.  If only he were his own man.  If his handlers or controllers were people who cared for their country, their control would not be so scary and create fear in the hearts of TRUE Americans as it does.  How entities such as these were able to elect a President they could so easily control is a fear to consider itself.  Understanding how this happened and this man was able to appoint a Homeland security head that would immediately put out a memo declaring Conservatives to be a danger and threat to the country takes an irrational mind.

An administration composed of liars, tax-cheats, and lobbyists is the most surprising thing that has happened in politics in YEARS.  Another surprising thing is the Republicans in the Senate approving this collection of incompetents and low-lives, which in itself demands that they all be voted out of office.

Their next test is Kathleen Sebelius, who should be prosecuted for lying about her support from an abortionist doctor for what I describe as an actual hit-man hired to kill, which is what late-term abortion is.

Airforce One and two fighter jets over New York City gave concern to many American citizens who went running from their offices in terror with the remembrance of what happened on September 11, 2001.  Did Obama know about this and was this his way of having a little bit of FUN with the New York City residents, whom he has not visited since being elected to be President?  Seems he takes New York for granted, and well he should.  He probably considers them the same as the tea party people, who he put down quite handily.  If you notice, it was Missouri he went to on his 100th day.  Could that be because they did away with free speech during the Presidential campaign when the officials there put out information that NO ONE COULD CRITICIZE OBAMA for fear of PROSECUTION?  Is it any wonder that he honored them with his presence?

I wonder if those people in New York that ran out of their buildings at the site of planes flying low over the city would have welcomed President Clinton doing a little “torture” of the 19 terrorists that flew the planes on September 11 that killed over 3,000 people.  Did the fact that the Clinton administration would not allow the CIA and FBI to communicate with each other, for which Janet Reno and Jamie Gorelick pushed for that policy, have any bearing on the susceptibility of New York City at that time?  Did Clinton agree with Reno and Gorelick or was he like Obama and subject to other peoples’ views, as Obama is to George Soros, MoveOn.org, DailyKos, Huffington Post, and the unions?

Having Pockets Berger to steal incriminating secret documents and destroying them, I wonder if the relatives of those killed on September the 11th would be so against water-boarding, which DOESN’T disable anyone – I doubt it!

I see where Obama is putting down the people who participated in the tea parties.  I wonder if he realizes the royalists, during the original tea party, felt the same way about those tea party participants.  In fact, I get the idea that Obama, himself, thinks he is royalty.  I doubt if his putting down the tea party demonstrators is going to dissuade them from further demonstrations.  If it does, I have misjudged my fellow Americans and so has he.  I guess Obama must have listened carefully to Bill Press and his tirade of hate against the demonstrators.  The platform for his hate was given by Fox News.  These demonstrations were not covered by all but one of the news channels, and of course not by the New York Times, NewsWeek, and so forth – and I would recommend these demonstrators avoid ALL contact with ANY of THEM but rejoice in their demise, which is moving along QUITE WELL!

Obama took a lesson from Chavez and Noriega and put down the demonstrators as they do, but at least he didn’t use bullets as they do, not saying that he wouldn’t.

Now let’s talk about the esteemed Senator Specter and his departure from the Republican party.  All I have to say is bon voyage.  He always was a thorn in the side of the Republican party and has NO integrity or character and will fit right in with the Democrats and their values, their values as welcome as a skunk at a garden party.  Obama just filled his last cabinet appointee with Kathleen Sebelius, of the same character as his others – had to pay back-taxes and also lied about an amount of money received for her campaign from a late-term abortionist doctor, same values as the rest of his cabinet.  As you can see, this is the cesspool of all the preceding administrations’ cabinets.  Those Republicans who voted for her nomination should, themselves, be voted out of office – their values are also in question.

Obama: The Greatest Divider Points Fingers

Divide and Conquer - is that what his smile is about?

Divide and Conquer - is that what his smile is about?

This talk of holding people responsible for their actions – no one is above the law – Clinton gave perjured testimony – let’s go back and send him to jail.  The two embassy bombings, World Trade Center bombings, USS Cole bombing, the 9/11 all lay at Clinton’s and his adviser’s doors.  Jamie Gorelick and Janet Reno should also be prosecuted for Waco and Ruby Ridge and the 9/11 attack.  Pockets Berger should be sent to jail for stealing State secrets, the same sentence spies get.  Many of this whole pack of advisers were with Bill Clinton that are now Obama’s advisers.  Let’s go back to Truman and his advisers and the dropping of two atomic bombs, the taking over of the steel mills – should we prosecute them in absentia?  Then of course FDR took many unlawful actions, and took away habeas corpus from thousands of Japanese Americans and placed them in concentration camps.  I think that’s what Janet Napolitano wants to do with Conservatives and veterans.  The Japanese Americans didn’t fight back, but I have an idea the Conservatives WILL FIGHT BACK!

JFK advisers had him take away the air cover for the Cuban Freedom Fighters, and we know what happened.  Then because of that he put us in danger from the nuclear weapons Russia placed in Cuba.  He sent us in to the Vietnam war without going before Congress.  It was continued by LBJ and Nixon.  Whose fault was it?  Why not go back to Lincoln?  He took away the rights of habeas corpus, had soldiers shot that fell asleep while on guard duty, no matter the circumstance.  Should all these past Presidents be prosecuted and all their advisers also prosecuted is beyond common sense and logic.  One more thing, should President Taylor be prosecuted for the Trail of Tears and hundreds of thousands of dead Cherokees?

When Obama was elected would he have said he was elected for taking up partners with DailyKos, MoveOn.org, Huffington Post, and George Soros?  Will he ever be his own man?  I honestly don’t think so.  He was going to unite the country, do away with partisanship – what kind of idiots does he think we are?  He is the GREATEST divider of this country there ever has been.

Now let’s talk about the culture of corruption in Congress now.  A new graduate to this culture is Dianne Feinstein and another just recently added was Jane Harman.  They joined John Murtha, Charles Rangel, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, Jerry Nadler, Barbara Boxer, Roland Burris, Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, Gregory Meeks, and Patrick Leahy.  Several of these were the ones who would not allow any oversight to be made regarding Fannie and Freddie, could also have a bearing on the current suicide od David Kellerman.  It’s not only Congress, but our smiling Cheshire cat, Obama, harming the American people.  He undercut the CIA and the military and does it smiling – makes you wonder if that smile is covering up some kind of sinister actions being taken that no one is aware of.

Obama’s intelligence man, Dennis Blair, came out with a statement pointing out that good info was obtained that protected the American people by the interrogation of the al-Qaeda terrorists.  Now it seems, to please his boss, he is doing some back-tracking.  Apparently he is gutless and won’t stand on his own principals and character.  He fits right in with the rest of the Obama administration.  Too bad Obama’s people didn’t have the character and honesty of Miss. California, who wouldn’t try to be politically correct to obtain the Miss. USA crown.  There is no character or honesty in the Obama administration.

Now let’s talk about the bailout with the corruption being planned and used.  GM that should have declared bankruptcy is being given bailout money, not for GM but for the unions, and it continues as payback for the unions support of Obama during the campaign.  The unions’ demands in salary, work rules, pension benefits, and health care have killed the American auto makers.  The unions in New York, according to the Mayor, are bankrupting the city and, of course, they were the reason the airlines had to reorganize and go through bankruptcy to survive.  The unions destroyed the steel industry, and the Democrats want to pass Card Check so every company in the United States can face the same fate.

John L. Lewis must be turning over in his grave to see how his union has rolled over for Obama, allowing him to destroy the coal industry and allowing the Senators and Congressional Representatives in their state to go along with Obama for the destruction of the coal industry.  Even Governor Rendell in Pennsylvania is stabbing the coal industry in the back.  But Pennsylvania Congressman Murtha called them rednecks and racists and they still voted for him, so I guess they won’t make their Senators and representatives vote for their wishes.  Constituents don’t count for anything.

Bush put in school vouchers so poor children could get a good education – also put in No Child Left Behind.  The teachers unions voted Obama in to take back their students so they could keep them in mediocrity and keep their power.  I don’t think Obama wanted his children being forced to associate with poor children so he had his education appointee kill the voucher program in DC.  Bush was the best friend those children ever had.  He was also the best friend Israel ever had, and they still prefer Obama – STRANGE.

  • Co2 is now dangerous to the climate per the freaks at the EPA.  Would seem to save ourselves we must destroy all trees and plants that take in that wonderful Carbon Dioxide and turn it into oxygen.  We live in dangerous times!
  • Congress so keen on holding hearings – should do it on worthwhile projects such as Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Jane Harman, Dianne Feinstein, Timothy Geithner, Barney Frank, and other administration officials who broke laws.

If You’ve Got The Money, Honey, You Get NO Time: Madoff

Not just a "weekend" at Bernie's!

Not just a "weekend" at Bernie's!

Obama has a great toothy smile.  He is an excellent speaker – a politician extraordinary.  But these do not make for a good leader.  Pie in the sky promises and high oratory will not solve this country’s problems.  Only hard driven legislation and honesty is the only hope we have.  In other words, the proof is in the pudding.  I wish him well and the country well, but with Harry and Nancy, I can’t see them contributing to the country’s needs since both are so partisan, this clouds everything they do.  The only things they will allow are things that will benefit the Democratic party, not the country.  I don’t know if we will ever get decent, honest people as leaders in Congress.  I wager that these bailouts will grease the pockets of many of these Congressmen and Congresswomen, Senators, and their relatives.

The idea of Barney Frank and Chris Dodd having so much to say about the use of the bailout funds is disgusting since they are the fathers of the financial meltdown.  Another thing that is disgusting is that most of these Washington politicians are surrounded by their relatives who gains posh jobs because of the intercedence of those same politicians.  Nepotism is rampant and our supposed fourth estate that is to be a barrier against government abuse  have hardly met their responsibility.  See attached:

Sun-Times: Journalists Being Shut Out by Obama

Created 2009-01-12 21:43

According to Sun-Times columnist and long-time Chicago journalist, Carol Marin, journalists at Barack Obama news conferences have come to realize that Obama has pre-picked those journalists [1] whom he will allow to ask him questions at the conference and many of them now “don’t even bother raising” their hands to be called upon.

One wonders why journalists are allowing this corralling of the press? Would they have allowed George W. Bush to pre-pick journalists like that? Would they meekly sit by and allow themselves to be systematically ignored, their freedom to ask questions silenced by any Republican? Would journalists so eagerly vie with one another for the favor of Bush like they are Obama’s?

For her part, it seems that Carol Marin is starting to wonder at the “bizarro world” that is being invented by the pliant and smitten Obama loving press corps.

As ferociously as we march like villagers with torches against Blagojevich, we have been, in the true spirit of the Bizarro universe, the polar opposite with the president-elect. Deferential, eager to please, prepared to keep a careful distance.

The Obama news conferences tell that story, making one yearn for the return of the always-irritating Sam Donaldson to awaken the slumbering press to the notion that decorum isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

The press corps, most of us, don’t even bother raising our hands any more to ask questions because Obama always has before him a list of correspondents who’ve been advised they will be called upon that day.

Will the rest of the press retake their manhood and again become the tough guys they have always claimed to be or are they going to stay so smitten by Obama and their love for The One that they will allow themselves to continue being forced into a subservient role?

One has a sinking suspicion that the press is allowing itself to become Obama’s lapdog extraordinaire.

I would like to suggest that the Republican party find good candidates to run against the two biggest crooks in the Congress, Harry Reid and Jack Murtha.  Their actions have placed them in a position to where they think they are above the law.  I don’t believe it would take much effort to bring their excesses and crooked actions to the voting public’s attention. REID’S SMELLY WINDFALL

By ED MORRISSEY

SENATE Minority Leader Harry Reid’s ethics woes continue to mount. An Associated Press expose shows that Reid pushed through changes in federal law that helped the senator get rich – via complex land deals with a lobbyist who’s also tied up in a federal bribery case.

Reid has now told the Senate Ethics Committee that he’ll amend his past disclosure statements to for the first time cover the business relationships that AP has exposed. But he calls the amendment “technical” – which suggests it won’t explain why his original “disclosures” misled the public on the nature of a partnership that made him a $700,000 windfall.

It isn’t the first time Harry Reid’s ties to real-estate developers have caused people to question the senator’s ethics.

Back in August, the Los Angeles Times exposed Reid’s questionable involvement and compensation in another Nevada real-estate deal. Harvey Whittemore, a lobbyist and real-estate investor, had plied Reid with campaign contributions and employed Reid’s family members. The senator, in turn, helped Whittemore bulldoze through a host of environmental regulations in developing a huge parcel outside Las Vegas, to profit in the tens of millions.

What Reid failed to disclose was his 2001 transfer of ownership of two parcels of land to Patrick Lane LLC – an entity in which he was partnered with one Jay Brown.

AP notes that Brown is a lobbyist, with reported links to organized crime. And he figures prominently in a federal criminal case – which concerns the bribery of members of the Clark County (Nev.) Zoning Commission by developers seeking changes to permit retail development on land they owned, vastly increasing its value.

As it happens, in 2001, the Clark County (Nev.) Zoning Commission approved a zoning change that allowed commercial/retail development on the land that Reid owned with Brown.

Then, the next year, Reid introduced and pushed into law the Clark County Conservation of Public Land and Natural Resources Act of 2002. The senator heralded this as vital in protecting the environment near Las Vegas. In fact, however, the law forced the Department of the Interior to sell off 18,000 acres of land around Las Vegas, spurring development and boosting the value of real-estate investments in the region. (Not what anyone normally associates with “protecting the environment.”)

Normally, the government would have to sell this land at auction, as land swaps had lost the federal government millions in southern Nevada. But Reid insisted on suspending that rule in his Clark County act. The developers that hired his sons as lobbyists prospered with the lower-cost acquisitions of prime real estate through the uneven swaps. Also in the money were those – like Harry Reid himself – who’d already invested money in Clark County real estate.

The L.A. Times revealed the Reid family’s extensive connections with Clark County developers in June 2003, as well as Reid’s extensive legislative interest in the land, but the Brown-Reid investment had not yet come to light – thanks to Reid’s failure to disclose.

Had the investment been known, voters could have made the connection. The Senate Ethics Committee might have taken an interest as well – except that Harry Reid himself sat as the top Democrat on that panel.

Disclosures now are pointless. The ethics panel needs to order a full investigation not just into the $700,000 profit, but all of Reid’s business partners and any legislation or intervention with federal regulators Reid pushed on their behalf.

Ed Morrissey blogs at captainsquartersblog.com, from which this is adapted.

I would like to make some comments about the master criminal, Bernard Madoff, who was able to steal billions.  He is not in jail, but living in a $7 million park avenue apartment that he owns.  On house arrest, I wouldn’t doubt he also has a house keeper and either a chef or caterer delivering his meals.  Contrast this to someone arrested with a small amount of drugs or a head of a family stealing food or money to feed his family.  How long would they be allowed to remain on house arrest?  Do you think?!?!

One thing more – when he does go to jail, it won’t be the same type of jail as will be the fate of the others mentioned.  Funny how elitists have a different approach to the transgressions of their own and transgressions of us commoners.  An example of this is Charles Rangel, in Congress, and his tax problems; also, the nominated Treasury Secretary of the Obama administration and his tax problems.  Will it ever change?

So many people in the Obama administration from the Clinton administration, but where is Pockets Berger?

Commoners don't get the "weekend" at Bernie's!

Commoners don't get the "weekend" at Bernie's!

Fox News Gets Their Orders From Murdoch, Turning Backs on Conservatives

I went to MSNBC and CNN after Sarah Palin’s speech and guess what?  They were saying exactly what I thought they would be saying.  The left-wing liberal media can be counted on to do the Democrats’ dirty work.  These media arms of the Democratic party are suffering from collective apoplexy.  Now even Fox News is shying away from tough talks for the Democratic nominee.  For those of you who don’t know, the man who own Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, is a Democrat and assured Obama he wouldn’t get any surprise questions and would be treated courtiously, and then Rupert gave Bill O’Reilly his orders.  Seems Murdoch doesn’t really like O’Reilly and doen’t like the tilt Fox had towards Conservatism.  And as you can see, it’s changed.  See attached:

Rupert Murdoch acted as peacemaker between Barack Obama and Fox News

Barack Obama, Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes

Rupert Murdoch helped broker a “tentative truce” between Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and key News Corporation lieutenant Roger Ailes, the boss of Fox News Channel, earlier this year, according to the media mogul’s biographer.

Murdoch, the News Corp chairman and chief executive, was forced to court Obama after the rising star of US politics rebuffed his initial approaches, it is believed because of what he saw as the derogatory coverage of him and his wife, Michelle, on Fox News, according to Michael Wolff.

The News Corp boss also advised Wolff, his biographer, to vote for the man who eventually became the Democratic presidential candidate during the New York primary earlier this year, saying: “He’ll sell more papers.”

These revelations are reported in the October edition of Vanity Fair magazine, which details contributing editor Wolff’s interviews with Rupert Murdoch over a period of nine months for his upcoming biography of the media mogul, The Man Who Owns the News.

After initially snubbing offers of a get-together with the media tycoon, made through the Kennedy family, Obama relented and a secret courtesy meeting with Murdoch was arranged at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York, according to Wolff.

When Obama eventually met Murdoch early this summer in secret, they were joined by Ailes, who runs News Corp’s Fox News Channel.

Wolff reported in Vanity Fair that during the meeting Obama and Murdoch sat knee to knee, with the older man offering the prospective candidate advice.

“Murdoch, for his part, had a simple thought to share with Obama. He had known possibly as many heads of state as anyone living today – had met every American president from Harry Truman on – and this is what he understood: nobody got much time to make an impression. Leadership was about what you did in the first six months,” wrote Wolff.

But Wolff claimed things were different when Ailes took Murdoch’s place.

“Obama lit into Ailes. He said that he didn’t want to waste his time talking to Ailes if Fox was just going to continue to abuse him and his wife, that Fox had relentlessly portrayed him as suspicious, foreign, fearsome – just short of a terrorist,” he wrote.

“Ailes, unruffled, said it might not have been this way if Obama had more willingly come on the air instead of so often giving Fox the back of his hand.

“A tentative truce, which may or may not have vast historical significance, was at that moment agreed upon.”

In the Vanity Fair article Wolff also claimed that Murdoch advised him to vote for Obama during the democratic primaries.

“Just before the New York Democratic primary, when I found myself undecided between Clinton and Obama, I said to Murdoch (a little flirtation, like a little gossip, softens him), ‘Rupert, I don’t know who to vote for – so I’m going to give you my vote. You choose’,” he wrote.

“He paused, considered, nodded his head slowly: ‘Obama – he’ll sell more papers.’”

Murdoch courting Obama marks something of role reversal from the mid-1990s, when UK prime minister-in-waiting Tony Blair actively courted Murdoch as part of his bid for power.

“This is a leap for Murdoch. Murdoch has traditionally liked politicians to come to him. His historic shift in the 1990s to Tony Blair came after Blair made a pilgrimage to Australia,” wrote Wolff.

“Obama, on the other hand, was snubbing Murdoch. Every time he reached out (Murdoch executives tried to get the Kennedys to help smooth the way to an introduction), nothing. The Fox stain was on Murdoch.”

However, the “Fox stain”, as Wolff calls it, does not appear to be one that Murdoch is so comfortable with any more.

Wolff wrote that the influence of Murdoch’s wife Wendi and the courting of more liberal figures in the media has raised a conflict in the News Corp founder, as he would love to build on his purchase of the Wall Street Journal by taking over the New York Times.

“He is spending time now in consideration of an even more far-fetched fantasy, the New York Times: he’d really like to own it too,” Wolff added.

“Now, everybody around him continues to tell him that buying the Times is pretty much impossible. There will be regulatory problems. The Sulzberger family would never … And then there’s the opprobrium of public opinion.

“But it’s obviously irresistible to him. I’ve watched him go through the numbers, plot out a merger with the Journal’s backroom operations, and fantasise about the staff’s quitting en masse as soon as he entered the sacred temple.”

This increasing desire to move for titles away from his traditional right-of-centre political power base is mirrored by a cooling toward Fox News Channel, according to Wolff.

“It’s life with Wendi versus life with Fox. (And, too, it’s the Wall Street Journal – and maybe the New York Times – versus Fox),” he wrote in Vanity Fair.

“Fox has been his alter ego. For a long time he was in love with the Fox chief, Roger Ailes, because he was even more Murdoch than Murdoch. And yet now the embarrassment can’t be missed – he mumbles even more than usual when called on to justify it; he barely pretends to hide the way he feels about [Fox presenter] Bill O’Reilly.

“And while it is not possible that he would give Fox up – because the money is the money; success trumps all – in the larger sense of who he is, he seems to want to hedge his bets.”

During the convention, Sarah Palin did herself, her party, and her country proud in her speech.  You can see she scared the hell out of the Democrats.  You know that their news media is going to try to demolish Palin, find cracks in her armor, and bring her down.  Also, the Democrats are out in force, slobbering and saying the same old talking points they have been given to say over and over.  It is so shallow and boring, you really get rather tired of it very soon.

I have some suggestions for Sarah Palin…First, avoid going on MSNBC and CBS.  ABC is a toss-up.  Given the opportunity, I think she should try to explain to the American people who don’t seem to be able to comprehend the need for oil drilling wherever oil is available in this country.  Even if we could get alternative energy to serve all our needs, which won’t happen, we could use our oil to sell to the rest of the world and improve our balance of payments dramatically, and our dollar would also strengthen dramatically.  Iran, at the moment, is converting their transportation vehicles to natural gas to enable them to sell their oil.  I would think that our government would be as smart as the Iranian government, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

On another subject, what ever happened to all those radical lefties from the 60s that Hillary wanted an earmark to make a memorial for them?  The majority of them went into teaching and they are now using their expertise to radicalize the youth of today.  An instance of this is a terrorist named Bill Ayers teaching in the University of Illinois.  He is not the only one of this ilk teaching in our colleges and universities, and guess who hired them?  The shallow intellect of the youth of today, with their self-gratification, has lended itself to this dumming down of America.  The Third Reich came to be with this same type of education.  One of the things they have influence on is how the legacies of past Presidents are decided.  An instance of this is Lyndon Johnson, who continued to carry out the Vietnam war that JFK had started – and yet he is the bad guy and JFK is the hero.  JFK’s Bay of Pigs fiasco is never mentioned.  Clinton’s legacy will be decided by those same imminent scholars.  Between them there are Pockets Berger and well hidden or discounted happenings such as Osama being offered to Clinton, but Clinton turning the opportunity down as well as Clinton’s veto of drilling in ANWR, which would have had a bearing on the price of gas of today and the state of the economy.

They had a dream - don’t destroy it!

These scholars of today, from the 60s, have treated and taught that Bush is the skunk in the wood pile, having a great effect.  Unless and until colleges and universities are purged of left-wing radical professors, this country will be heading into socialism and the end to the dreams of this nation’s founders who pledged their lives and fortunes to it: E Pluribus Unum or out of many, one.

Oh, by the way… Teddy Roosevelt had five children, and if I’m not mistaken, they used the White House like a home, playing hide and seek and using the lawns as yards, and he wasn’t condemned for it.

Sunday, Chris Wallace confirmed that Fox is no longer Conservative in the way he treated Axelrod and Davis.  He and the Democrats are still highly ticked off that McCain didn’t pick Lieberman or Tom Ridge.  They lay it on cowardice.  Calling McCain a coward is a stretch no reasonable American would ever make.

May God continue to bless the USA and save us from Barack Hussein Obama.
