Huckabee – A.K.A. THE HUCKSTER

Two faces - one huckster!

I will start this article with a good look at Huckabee, the flavor of the month for the drive-by media.  Let me say this before I get into his act.  I will say he is a huckster.  A huckster is someone who uses aggressive showy, and sometimes devious methods to promote or sell a product.  The shoddy product he is selling is himself.  We know he is a liar.  He says he has a theological degree, which is not true.  He says it was the parole board in Arkansas that released Wayne Dumont, who then killed someone.  It was him who wanted Dumont released.  He denies his record, which speaks for itself.  He put down the Mormon religion purposefully, and then apologized – another Clintonesque type of attack.  He is also similar to Clinton, in which he says all the things about his ethics and failures of conscience pointed out by his detractors is a Democratic conspiracy – a la Hillary’s right-wing conspiracy.

He just said something that I think is pretty much word-for-word for what I have heard from a Democrat’s mouth – “The Bush administration is arrogant and has a bunker mentality.”  I didn’t know he was running against Bush.  I guess he thinks the religious people in Iowa are all Bush haters.  I hope he is wrong, but I do not trust the Iowa voters.  He seems to have them well fooled up to now.  I am a die-hard Conservative, but I would vote for Hillary before I would vote for the huckster.

There must be something in the water in Hope, Arkansas that brings out the devious and underhanded acts of their candidates.  You can fool all of the people some of the time, and others part of the time.  But you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.  I hope the Iowa voters aren’t that stupid.  I still haven’t decided who my candidate is, but I know it will never be a huckster preacher.  I will continue to watch the other candidates, but it sure as hell will never be the huckster or Ron Paul.  The huckster, to me, represents a false prophet, and his use of religion in his campaign is reprehensible.  He can’t use his record on illegal immigration and taxes as a resume.  I am waiting for him to say that being against him is a right-wing conspiracy.  Enough about an idiot.

As far as I am concerned, the most pressing political problem is immigration and the Iraq war, contrary to what the moderator said in her role as debate gargoyle.  I am so sick of the use of polls to push or tear down candidates.  I seem to always have different views on what the candidates say and what the Washington and media elites say about their statements and records.  I say if there is a record there, examine it before drawing any conclusions.  In other words, look at the huckster’s record as governor and his ethics while establishing that record.

Where's the funding?

The huckster also seems to have the same opinion of our troops and efforts in Iraq as the Democrats.  I have a suggestion – at the next Democratic debate, leave out Gravel and Kucinich as they did before, but invite the huckster as they did with Alan Keyes in the Republican debate.  The indignation and pontificating by politicians in Washington about the use of steroids by ball players gives me a laugh.  I would say politicians do worse things to the American people.  Another issue is how they feel about the Iraqis not meeting benchmarks.  When have they achieved any benchmarks?  Where is the budget and funding for our troops?

Let’s boycott the Chinese Olympic Games; let’s boycott NBC and General Electric; may God continue to bless the USA and save us from the huckster!

They don’t give a DAMN about the Iraqis!

We gave our lives for YOU - use it well!

This country has lost its way.  Too many have interests in their own direction, their own agendas, and those of special interests.  Those who hang separately to the detriment of their own country is appalling to me.  When politicians are concerned more with the good will of other nations and of factions not even a country leaves us in danger.  I don’t have to call any names – you know of whom I speak.  The only defense we have against this is the voters, and we hope legal voters.

Since World War I, World War II, Korea, and the Cold War, this nation has helped obtain freedom for other oppressed nations who have achieved and cherished their freedom.  Now many of these same nations have no interest in helping Iraqis achieve their freedom also.  Many quote the fact that the Iraqi parliament has not met benchmarks.  Our war of independence took eight years, and our benchmark of “all men are created equal” was not realized until the Civil War.  As far as the benchmarks for our Congress, they are not being met, and they are operating in a peaceful environment other than an occasional code pink invasion.

Their benchmarks will not be met as long as they cater to the environmentalists, moveon.org, daily kos, and polls.  One of their benchmarks is energy and a program to ensure adequate energy for this nation to continue its growth.  Another of their benchmarks is to overhaul the social security system.  There is no way that one or two people can pay taxes sufficient to carry retirement pay for several other citizens.  Another benchmark they have is the security of American citizens and program set up to ensure same.  Even if it takes away some of our civil rights, they should be more concerned about American rights to life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness.

Another of their benchmarks is the economic needs of the American people, which means not being taxed for all kinds of earmarks for each Congressman’s or Senator’s political campaign contribution buddy.  In fact, if they were serious about their benchmarks, they would outlaw earmarks.  They have many more benchmarks, but in this Congress so far, all they have done is investigate.

O.J. is back in the news and covered by the cable news channels day and night.  If only some cable channel would cover earmarks night and day, spotlighting the politician, the amount, who gets it, if they donated campaign funds to the politician, if there was any need for this earmark to benefit in any way the American taxpayers.  This to be done without any deference to either party.  I think if this were done, there would be a drastic change in the members of Congress.  This, of course, if the American voters would show the same interests as apparently they do in O.J.  Then of course, it would also depend on the voters’ desire to participate in their duties as a citizen, and not as a political hack.

There has always been QUITTERS!

I want to see this country as it once was before Vietnam when we turned our backs on a people and allowed millions to die from genocide.  It was people like Code Pink, moveon.org, and daily kos that allowed this to happen, and now they are leading the charge to discard the Iraqis for the SAME FATE.  I don’t believe they have character enough to have a conscience.  Since this country was formed, it has been guided by the voters, and on a good course except from Vietnam thru Iraq, when apparently we went against FDR and learned to fear fear itself.  With hope for a return to a course of character and integrity by this country, I will close.  May God bless the USA.

Benchmarks for WHO?

Straight out of Deliverance

How come no hate crime charges were filed against six white people who tortured a young black woman in West Virginia? What kind of people does Logan County produce? Seems to me a lot of them must be old friends of Robert Byrd and his KKK. I don’t think I have ever heard anything more sickening than this in my life.  The citizens there must be the absolute lowest.  I would class them with the same amount of dispicable acts as those of moveon.org.

The Madeline McCann case reminds me of an incident in Australia years ago when a couple said a dingo came and carried off their baby while they were camping.  The rash of killing babies by parents should be a warning bell to the American citizens.  I would say this culture and its consequences is tearing America apart at its roots.

Those with no guts of their own and would have been among the long-hairs chanting “Hell no, I won’t go”, then fleeing to Canada during Vietnam are the ones condemning this war and our military.  We have no draft and these cowards have no need to fear having to go to war.  May they rest in peace, soon!

Now that the New York Times has given $116,000 to moveon.org, does this mean they broke any campaign laws, or did the McCain-Feingold Act give them license to do this?  I have wondered since 9/11, 2001 what the world would be like now if it had been the United Nations building that was hit by the two planes.  I have a feeling things would be far better now.

I would like to point out a few things… the Homeland Security Department have only achieved 8 of 14 of their benchmarks.  This Democratic Congress has accomplished absolutely NOTHING.  These people are quick to condemn Iraq for not meeting their benchmarks.  If THEY can’t do THEIR jobs in a country at PEACE, how can they expect the Iraqis should meet these benchmarks in a war full of sectarian violence and under Saddam’s terrorist rule of 35 years and the MADNESS of his sons?  I would imagine the people of Iraq will be looking over their shoulder for quite a long time!

Thanks to moveon.org, I'm a Senator!

I saw today where we can’t control the narcotics trade in Afghanistan.  That sounds like a copout to me.  Don’t we have planes capable of spraying weed killer as these crops are planted?  If we can’t, I suggest we bring all soldiers home from South Korea, Germany, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan and just close our borders and sit with our heads down saying “Woe is me.”  As far as the Democrats condemning that scurrilous ad, it will never happen – remember moveon.org says “The Democratic party is ours – we bought it, we made it, and we own it.”  You must also remember the only reason Jim Webb is now a Senator is that moveon.org slimed the Republican candidate running against him.

I honor Petraeus and the troops, and I wish them all success.  I know they can win one for the Gipper.  May God bless the USA!

Of Cabbages and Kings… and borders and things…

No obstacles or ID will stop me!

The border fence is going to badly affect bird watchers and naturalists the greenies say.  The nuts say it will keep away tourists.  I guess they think the illegals passing through are tourists.  I don’t think they spend much money to add to the local economy on their way through.  If there had been any internal auditing of the immigration department over the years, this amount of illegal immigrants in this country now would never have been reached.  Remember Al Gore before the 2000 election and those thousands and thousands of immigrants given citizenship in order to vote?  It was at that time when he tried to keep military votes from counting.  That demonstrates his regard for the troops.

This reminds me of the blame the Democrats are blasting the Republican party as regards Hurricane Katrina.  If the truth were known, enough money was spent on New Orleans that would have enabled construction of a two story house to replace each and every house destroyed in the hurricane with money left over.  That leads to another question.  Every year, the taxpayers underwrite the costs to maintain the barriers that protect New Orleans from the waters that would cause it to cease to exist.  That is not the only community being protected from disasters by taxpayers.  Practically every coastal state is having taxpayers’ money spent to underwrite the costs of protecting mansions built on the water by the elitists and replacing them if they get destroyed by the oceans.  In fact, if the American public knew how our taxpayers money is spent, it would undoubtably create a massive health problem by the amount of heart attacks it caused, as well as people with high blood pressure getting strokes.  I guess that’s probably why the politicians keep these facts from us.  They are compassionate people.  Those people who build in areas known for the possibilities of hurricane damage are, in my opinion, placing themselves and their property in harm’s way and should in no way expect the taxpayers to bail them out.

This administration and certain members of Congress saying that this plan to give illegal immigrants citizenship, would not be done until the benchmark was made that the borders were safe and under control.  I ask you, in all seriousness, to tell me if you think this benchmark will ever be met.  I would like to know what companies, such as Tyson, Goldkist, Swift & Company, and others in these industries, spend on lobbying and bribes concerning their work pool of illegal immigrants.

Now we are in the political storm of Presidential politics, and I want to make a case for Hillary.  During Bill Clinton’s campaign for the Office of President, his campaign had an office to defend against bimbo eruptions.  Now Hillary will have to have an office to defend against a massive right-wing conspiracy.  Don’t you all think she already has enough trouble by having to worry about what her roaming husband might bring home to her, and I don’t mean cigars.  Also, changing positions so fast could cause a sever case of vertigo.

Before I go, I think we should always remember certain things…

  • How is ole Pockets Berger doing these days?
  • Is ole Harry Reid still making large real estate deals?
  • How about two-gun Sutton – is he still putting border agents away?
  • Are the judges in Vermont still declaring open season on the child victims of molesters?
  • Have the Democrats solved the problem of high fuel prices yet like they said they would?
  • Are there any Democratic politicians who haven’t changed their opinions on the Iraq war since they were all for it in the beginning?  I believe there is one – Joe Lieberman.  And the Democrats tried to vote him out.
  • Do you think liberal activists will ever get any manners and allow Conservatives to speak at colleges and universities without heckling and being boorish?
  • What ever happened to those liberal activists who vandalized the Republican cars with flats during the election?
  • What ever happened to those people who were paid to obtain signatures for voter fraud?

A typical liberal activist - shades of Rosie O'Donnell
