George has reasons to be depressed!
Kent Conrad – an absolute idiot – saying how imported oil was destroying us and we have to come up with clean energy. If he and his Democratic pals and the crazy environmentalists would allow drilling in the USA and processing of oil shale, we would have enough for hundreds of years. I am so sick of their damn lies and holding America hostage and saying how they want us to NOT have to DEPEND on foreign oil – what hypocrites!
Saw an article on the internet saying we should have higher gas prices. What in the hell for? The gas prices are going up now for no good reason. There are still oil tankers full in the ocean waiting for the price of oil to go up.

The speculators driving the price of gas up are fulfilling their greed, screwing the American people, helping Iran to increase their funds to use for their nuclear ambitions and Russia to rebuild their military machine. Seems to me instead of having demonstrations in front of AIG headquarters, it should be before Congress and the Chicago Board of Trade for oil futures. Oil and corn futures having the price bid up for no reason is unpatriotic and borders on treason. Cheaper gas gave consumers some money to spend in January and February and the government was glad for the increase in consumer spending. Now they are taking those few funds away from the citizens who depend on gas to commute to their jobs.
As far as corn goes, since using this for ethanol it has increased the prices we pay for groceries and increased the costs of feedstock for cattle, hogs, sheep, and chickens. Ethanol production from corn is a serious breach of policy and is harmful to the economy. Common sense does not exist in Washington – only bombastic egos and personal gain.
I watched Kent Conrad going over the proposed budget with double-speak and lies. I say it is time for term limits to be imposed on Congress, and any Senator who has been there two terms needs to be forced to leave. Also, any Congress person who has been there four terms should be made to LEAVE. In fact, most of the people in Congress and the Senate should be prosecuted – some in particular, undeniably, merit prosecution immediately: Charlie Rangel, Chris Dodd, Roland Burris, John Murtha, Barney Frank, Kent Conrad, Maxine Waters, Timothy Geithner, Teddy Kennedy – who with Orrin Hatch co-sponsored the Third Reich style increase in AmeriCorps.
I know that my two Senators (Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isaacson) voted for the AmeriCorps increase and I will work for their opponent(s) in the primary. If they can’t see the danger in this, they don’t deserve to be Senators. Is there any possibility that Orrin Hatch and Teddy Kennedy are more than friends, like the Ransom of Red Chief, perhaps, only their ransom is taken from the government.
Obama and his five hundred person overseas contingency is more than any oil-rich sheik or potentate has ever done. Wonder if there were any eunuchs brought along. I hope that this trip will, perhaps, take down his vast ego and arrogance. He does not merit adulation even if he thinks he does. Perhaps the women and rabid Democrats that voted him in will take a second look at his persona and come up with a realistic idea of what he is doing to the country. I sincerely hope so.
I saw Teddy Kennedy plugging health care saying how he has benefited from health care in this country. He surely has, but the advances in medicine have come, mostly, from this country, as we have the best, and politicians want us to emulate the European and Canadian systems, where in many cases you have to wait – sometimes until it’s too late. The elitists and rich people such as Teddy Kennedy and our illustrious politicians, who would be like European and Canadian elitists who come to this country for care – all those caring people will always be able to go to the head of the line, saying all along how they FEEL YOUR PAIN.
As you can readily see, the unions have destroyed our steel and auto industries and now they want to spread their poison all over the country and destroy the country as well. I saw some Hollywood kooks from the West Wing show pushing for card check. I think that if I could, I would push for the elimination of Hollywood. As far as I am concerned, I have heard a myth since I was a child that there is a possibility that a San Andreas fault earthquake could cause California to move out to sea and be destroyed. If I should wish that to happen, would I be a horrible person? I guess it rests on your point of view. Perhaps Obama might be visiting there at that time – I CAN HOPE!
I had thought that Bill Clinton was putting out his image too much and he was everywhere you looked at ANY news show and in our face constantly. However, compared to Obama he was HIDDEN! There are two people who joined the Obama administration that I had high regard for and I regret this is no longer so. Those two are Gates and Volcker. Why they joined when they had paid their taxes is beyond me. Now there is another Democrat going through the Senate for confirmation. Guess what? She had to pay $7000 in back-taxes. I would say she fits in nicely with this particular crowd of tax cheating scum.
I see where Obama’s crew are setting up an online emotional rescue kit. It will warn of depression, suicidal thinking, persistent sadness and crying, excessive anxiety, lack of sleep, excessive irritability, and anger. I don’t see how this can help, as Obama will still be President.
