Vermont wants to secede from the Union - please let them!  President Bush is not welcomed there, but child molesters are and they have special privileges.  What kind of citizens live there who allow judges to do what they like and not what the law says?  In my opinion, the citizens of Vermont are as much to blame as their judges are.

California - now that California is experiencing the worst fire season in many years, the Governor has called out the military to help put out the fires.  How come they didn’t call out Code Pink?  I wonder if they would allow these military men into their air terminals and not confine them to the tarmac.  Also, I wonder if the rats were burned out - you know, the environmental kooks “protected” an area from military needs because they were endangered.  Another question - will the citizens of California allow firefighters from other states and other countries to go through their airport terminals?  I can feel sympathy for the average citizen of California, however, any houses that are burned, I would hope, would be those of the liberal elitists, environmental wackos or those of members of Code Pink - in fact, I think the military should have these houses of Code Pink members pointed out to them so they could ignore fires in that area.  I think if San Francisco has another earthquake, they will call out the military, not Code Pink.

Where was  T. Boone Pickens when Clinton vetoed drilling in ANWR in 1996 (12 years ago)?  Wonder if it would have been on line by now?  Of course it would.  They both had no foresight, but at least T. Boone didn’t veto the bill.  Talk about foresight.  Clinton sure had it, especially when he allowed Janet Reno and Jamie Golerick to separate communications between the FBI and CIA, and THEN he enforced it.  Would you say he brought on 9/11?  I think so!

Oh, by the way… then Jamie Golerick went to Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae and received a $23 million separation package.  Another Clinton aide, Franklin D. Raines, took over Freddy and Fannie and was kicked out for fraud.  There was a $6 billion shortage.  Do you think it made any difference in the onset of the current mortgage crisis?  Of course it did.

Now let’s talk about how brilliant the Republicans are in pointing out the high gas prices being caused by the Democrats and the former President to enlighten the American citizens.  Doesn’t it seem they should be able to beat the Democrats over the head with the oil crisis?  Apparently their mental capacity is centered on being kind and considerate to their opponents.  Environmentalist wackos and Democrats have blocked our pursuit of our own energy needs in gas and oil, but want to undertake all kinds of alternatives whether they will work or not.  Ethanol from corn has inflated our food costs and energy costs to the extremes.  That is so wrong and it will be abandoned.  Windmills and wave technology face serious challenges and will not work.  Don’t forget NOT IN MY BACKYARD… or MY OCEAN!

Eventually the windmills will be abandoned.  The environmentalists will scream for them to be taken down because they are killing birds - no matter the costs.  The sensible answer for energy is nuclear, off shore drilling, ANWR drilling, oil removed from oil shale, and large deposits of natural gas.  The only thing that could replace these is if someone is able to remove the hydrogen from sea water.

Observations:

• Michelle Obama says the $600 stimulas check would, maybe, buy a pair of earrings.  Doesn’t this show that she is one of the common people, not an elitists?
• The liberal elitists Democrats, at their convention in Denver, packing homeless away to some other area as communist China is doing for their Olympics - aren’t their hearts big.
• Fox News has been carried away by the Democrats accepting them as fair and balanced.  They have shown their appreciation in the same manner as MSNBC - good GOD!

• PLEASE, let’s get out of the corrupt U.N.
