Huckabee - A.K.A. THE HUCKSTER

He just said something that I think is pretty much word-for-word for what I have heard from a Democrat’s mouth - “The Bush administration is arrogant and has a bunker mentality.” I didn’t know he was running against Bush. I guess he thinks the religious people in Iowa are all Bush haters. I hope he is wrong, but I do not trust the Iowa voters. He seems to have them well fooled up to now. I am a die-hard Conservative, but I would vote for Hillary before I would vote for the huckster.
There must be something in the water in Hope, Arkansas that brings out the devious and underhanded acts of their candidates. You can fool all of the people some of the time, and others part of the time. But you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. I hope the Iowa voters aren’t that stupid. I still haven’t decided who my candidate is, but I know it will never be a huckster preacher. I will continue to watch the other candidates, but it sure as hell will never be the huckster or Ron Paul. The huckster, to me, represents a false prophet, and his use of religion in his campaign is reprehensible. He can’t use his record on illegal immigration and taxes as a resume. I am waiting for him to say that being against him is a right-wing conspiracy. Enough about an idiot.
As far as I am concerned, the most pressing political problem is immigration and the Iraq war, contrary to what the moderator said in her role as debate gargoyle. I am so sick of the use of polls to push or tear down candidates. I seem to always have different views on what the candidates say and what the Washington and media elites say about their statements and records. I say if there is a record there, examine it before drawing any conclusions. In other words, look at the huckster’s record as governor and his ethics while establishing that record.

The huckster also seems to have the same opinion of our troops and efforts in Iraq as the Democrats. I have a suggestion - at the next Democratic debate, leave out Gravel and Kucinich as they did before, but invite the huckster as they did with Alan Keyes in the Republican debate. The indignation and pontificating by politicians in Washington about the use of steroids by ball players gives me a laugh. I would say politicians do worse things to the American people. Another issue is how they feel about the Iraqis not meeting benchmarks. When have they achieved any benchmarks? Where is the budget and funding for our troops?
Let’s boycott the Chinese Olympic Games; let’s boycott NBC and General Electric; may God continue to bless the USA and save us from the huckster!
