Cynicism is also required in the matter of global warming that our government is pushing, even though the last ten years have been cooler than usual. How can cynicism not rule when all three of the Presidential candidates are citing global warming when it doesn’t exist? What gives? John McCain, for all he says he is his own man, wants to be liked and follows the finger in the wind approach to his actions. Case in point, drilling in ANWR and off the continental shelf he kowtows to environmentalists to the detriment of the country.I wish we could send all the environmentalists, including Al Gore and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., to Russia and China to put a crimp in their economy as they have in ours. How can you be anything but a cynic when you see the Democrats investigation or hearing committees on everything from baseball and oil companies to trying to take over Commander in Chief duties as their own, and take over the war from the Generals, even though the Chairman Carl Levin didn’t know the difference between an Admiral and a General. For the American citizens to not be cynical of their legislative body of government would require the willing suspension of disbelief.
May God continue to bless the USA!
