The Specter of Two Clintons Defies Logic

After that, Clinton turned Somalia back over to the warlords. Our two embassies were bombed, and the warship Cole was hit by explosives that killed more of our servicemen, but Clinton took no action - guess he didn’t want to waste the peace dividend. Then of course right after Monica, to take the heat off, he sent some missiles in to destroy an aspirin factory - a wag-the-dog affair. To redeem himself, he had the Air Force fly bombing missions over Bosnia for months until they capitulated. We are still there. I never hear this mentioned. You hear of our troops in North Korea, Germany, Okinawa, Iraq, and Afghanistan, but never Bosnia.
Hollywood and the Elites love this rapist because of his charisma. Hillary has none of his charisma and is very unfavorable to the masses. Do you want someone to show weaknesses to the world as Clinton did? It makes the rest of the world like us, but it was not weakness that defeated the Soviet Union. The specter of two Clintons in the White House is very scary to me. The fact is that Russia and China are increasing their military programs dramatically and could become a threat we might have to contain. Clinton’s history of giving our technology to China and obtaining campaign funds for same is very disturbing.
Charisma, or lack of same, will NOT protect the American people. Only strength of purpose will. Regardless of the actions of CNN and TIME pushing Hillary, I hope the voters have better sense. I sometimes wonder if CNN and TIME should try to get 527 status and not have to pay taxes. CNN has always been of low repute, but TIME, at one time, was a respected magazine, but unfortunately is no longer. Henry Luce, founder of TIME, would be very disappointed. Decisions and how they are made is the subject at hand. The election is the one that the media is using all their facilities at the moment. I hope the decision the voters make is not the result of some media’s lies or misinformation.
Decisions made during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars have not been as clear as they should be. One of the things I have wondered about is allowing poppy fields to be grown in Afghanistan and contribute to the Taliban’s and al-Qaeda’s treasury to be used to kill our servicemen and the their country’s civilians who want freedom. When the poppies are half grown, they could be sprayed with weed killer or some other non-lethal item, such as bleach, etc. It would not require agent orange or something dangerous to humans. Fighter jets or gunships could be used to protect the planes that spray to kill the poppies.
As far as al-Qaeda being helped by tribal leaders and members in Pakistan, I don’t see why a satellite couldn’t be parked over this area with day and night optics, and when al-Qaeda and the Taliban’s ugly presence surfaces, a gunship could lose its coordinates and by mistake, eliminate those ugly things. Another decision not made is using technology and common sense to protect the troops as they move through areas that IEDs may be planted. They could have a 30 foot boom with wheels at the end, carrying a platform of metal detectors, explosives detectors, electronic jamming devices, with warning sirens when approaching any detected threat.
I am not a techie, but if we can develop a missile defense system, put up a space platform, go to the moon, etc, and this problem continues to be unsolved, than I would say that something is defying logic!
I still say that in every Presidential election, one state should be selected by lottery and have its election one week before Iowa. Then it would be eliminated from the pool of states, and another state could be chosen by lottery for the next election. As I have watched the Iowa caucus over the years, I’ve been amazed by how so few people in one state dominate the election so much with very little ethnic mix. Allowing religion to be used as a tool for politicians is absolutely the last thing a democracy needs.
I haven’t heard the media’s reaction to Bush vetoing the Defense Policy Bill. In this bill, lawyers with their litigation could throw a monkey wrench in Iraq’s realization of becoming a democracy. Seems the Democrats, if they can’t force our military to abandon Iraq, will try other means to ensure our defeat in helping Iraq realize their dream of freedom and independence.
The only thing the Democrats want is dependence of Americans on government for their lives. However, this doesn’t provide safety and security for the country from foreign threats. We know that Clinton and Carter didn’t take strong measures when needed.

One other item I will cover - Georgia, Florida, and Alabama concerned over water resources. There is one action that could be taken to solve this problem and cost less than the Big Dig in Boston that the taxpayers paid for. That action would be a 10 inch pipeline from the Mississippi River to divert water as needed to Lake Lanier and Lake Allatoona. The major costs would be imminent domain purchases, but would only involve three states. I know they will say this can’t be done as they did with the Panama and Erie Canals. The biggest problem to be encountered would be the graft and corruption by local and regional politicians. So what else is new?
Promises for pre-K and healthcare won’t matter if you are dead, whether these promises are real or not. I hope the voters will vote for this country’s safety and security, not someone who would turn this country into a U.N. province. Being popular in the world is not worth risking our freedom and security.
May God continue to bless the USA!
