Talking heads and fat cats are not concerned about gas prices. Most of them live in the city, use cabs, and don’t drive. But a person forced to commute 30 or 40 miles to work is hurting - takes a lot away from the middle class and the poor. The speculators driving the price of oil up are to me the same as Scrooge, and they say “To HELL with Tiny Tims!” Is Hillary into oil futures the same as cattle? Either way, she makes money on other people’s misery.

Now we are hearing about the poor northern families having to pay so much for heat. It breaks my heart! Most of them are Democrats and environmentalists who place such obstacles in the path of energy independence for this country and low cost energy for all the people, including the northern states for heat in the winter. The Democrats have proclaimed their interests in the “little people” and sold them a bill of goods. The Democratic party has done a hell of a job convincing people they are “for them”, but if the truth be known, they have used and abused the people who vote for them. They have fooled them over and over. I won’t say their voters are stupid - I will say they have been misled. The saddest thing of all is that the Democratic politicians believe their own lies.

Tocqueville said “America seemed to be a country where individuals’ interests seem to be the sole bond that makes the great variety of elements work in unison.” He also said that durability is what makes a people as it makes a person. Where is our Churchill, Eisenhower, Truman, Wainwright, and Bradley when we need ‘em? Look at what we’ve got, except for our our young military men and their leaders. They are our only hope after what I’ve heard from the young elitists in our colleges and universities. They will only become parasites on other peoples’ efforts. They are being taught well by similar creatures.

Dingel, the head of the Commerce and Energy Committee, is not doing anything to encourage drilling in ANWR - also not encouraging oil to be removed from the shale in the western states as China is doing in their country. And the Canadians are doing something similar in their oil sands. There are other areas outside the 12 mile limit where oil is available. Other countries are doing this. That is one of the reasons we should not sign into the U.N. Law of the Sea Treaty. I know Dingel must be really concerned about the poor northern states and the large heating bills they will have. Time for a political gift to let the poor northerners get tax payer money to help pay their heating… another way to buy votes, even though the Democratic party and the environmentalists are to blame for the problem.

HOWEVER, according to Gore, they will have a climate like Miami, but there won’t be much of them left after the 20 feet of ocean rise that he forecasts.

Am going to make this short. I only want to make a comment. Mr. McCain talks about Rudy not choosing his associates well. What about McCain’s association with the Keating Five and his association with Kennedy and Feingold, which is MUCH worse than Kerik.
