Now that MSNBC is spending one day a week with programs to help elect the Democrats, CNN, CNBC, PBS, and NPR can devote one day, then ABC and CBS can cover the weekends. Larry Craig has thrown these pitbulls a bone… you know, how the news media used the Mark Foley case to change control of Congress in the 06 election. That old double standard - remember Gerry Studds (who NEVER stepped down) and Barney Frank (who is still in Congress). William Jefferson and Jack Murtha are still in Congress.

If the murder rate of New Orleans was projected against the total population of Iraq, the amount of civilian deaths in this country would be in excess of the number of civilian deaths in Iraq. I would still like to know if the billions given to New Orleans would have rebuilt every house lost with homes of greater value. It is time for the politicians and citizens of New Orleans to stop and say the buck stops here. Seems to me they have picked up on the defeatist attitudes of the Democratic party and its majority leaders, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

Seeing Jimmy Carter and John Edwards, who’s so pretty together, brought back memories of the Carter administration with 21% interests rates, long gas lines, a country thumbing its nose at the U.S. and taking over 50 American citizens hostage, holding them and the administration taking no action. Also it brings back memories of the mad rabbit and lusting only in your heart. I can see why they appeared together - pretty boy would be just like Carter as President, except for one thing… he would have one wall of the Oval Office coverted into a mirror, and have a barber and make up artist on his staff and on call at all times.

Is the surge working? Of course it is, but the Democratic party and its leadership will not admit it. A Democratic Congressman just came back from Iraq and said that the surge WAS working and we should continue. He has already had Democratic campaigns against him on TV. The Democratic party is similar to the global climate warming freaks - they will not allow ANY deviation from the group-think. The liberal news media is subject to the same group-think and defeatist attitudes as the left-wing radicals and push that agenda for them. The hostility and venom directed by the Democrats and the liberal media towards the Bush administration is absolutely SICKENING!

They, with all their investigations, would rather find some flaw in someone close to Bush or Bush himself, than take some action for the benefit of the American citizens. They are mostly against the Patriot Act, phone surveillance, use of satellite images, security cameras, or anything else to put safety for the American citizens in the way of the terrorists. The hopes and dreams of the founders of this great country are on the verge of being sacrificed for the goodwill and best wishes from the rest of the world, and especially the Muslim countries and the organizations like CAIR and the new Muslim only school - also the footbaths for our Muslim friends.

Looking over my shoulder, I still say may God bless the USA.
