You know the expression “I don’t have a dog in that fight.” I have noticed polls - especially those put out by ABC/Washington Post in which they do have a dog in that fight, and that dog is Hillary. In polls by the liberal media, Hillary is gaining in larger numbers than one would expect. It must be very disheartening to Obama’s supporters. Poor John Ediwards is so low as to be pathetic. I guess they think they can just steamroll her in. I am sure they will be successful in having her take the primary, but the general election will be a much harder effort, and I am not so sure they will be successful there.

There are an awful lot of past Hillary distasteful acts committed, and of course when they are brought up during the election, she will no doubt blame the vast right wing conspiracy. I would like to see an honest poll-taker with unquestioned integrity take a poll to see which of the presidential candidates from both parties would be considered the most honest and ethical - also the one most prone to say what he means, and means what he says. I am sure that in this day and age, Diogenes would throw away his lantern and say “I give up!”

The Congress and Senate are out of Washington and it’s still hot enough this August in Washington without all that hot air. I do believe that the Democratic Congress will pay for trying to have the American taxpayer help support illegal immigrants. The movement all over this country by cities and towns to pass laws to try to get done what the U.S. government is failing to do with the current laws on the books will focus the voters’ minds on what they attempted to do. I can’t believe the majority of voters would like their taxes to go to pay support for illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants already comprise at least 25% of violent crimes and 50% of gang activity.

Now I want to bring the government to task for not using laws we have, not just for illegal immigrants, but other things. What I have reference to is colleges and universities getting federal funds and not complying with their part of the agreement allowing recruiters from the services on campus. From what I can see, these same colleges and universities are the breeding ground for political correctness and students being subjected to mind-altering propaganda by professors teaching them that America is bad, our way of life is bad, our military should be abolished, we should make no efforts to defend ourselves, the rest of the world is good except for us, and the U.N. should run the world.

These professors would say that Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were heroes. When nuts like Ward Churchill have tenure in a university, you know things are way out of kilter. I am still waiting and hoping for some news magazine with guts to publish a list of all lobbyists in Washington and who they are lobbying for. Remember Billy Carter? He was a lobbyist for Libya.

A taxpayer funded school for Muslims in New York City should be abolished. This is a direct attack on the separation of Church and State. I can just hear the liberals screaming if taxpayer funds were used to open a Baptist or Methodist school.

Last, but not least… this primary season has become unbearably long, and the general electio with all the states moving their primaries forward will also be unbearably long. When the general election takes place, people will be so sick of politicians, they won’t care who is elected President. I lied. That wasn’t the last - this is…

Where is the U.N. as to helping Iraq become a stable government? Seems to me that they should be involved by at least condemning Iran for getting weapons into Iraq in insrgents’ hands to keep Iraq from becoming a Middle Eastern Democratic Nation.
