Our priorities - are they wrong?

The government is not using laws they have on the books to protect the border and persue illegals who cross the border or overstayed their visas. No efforts have been made to construct the fence, whether solid or technological. It’s as if they say “if I can’t have the laws I want, I won’t use the ones I have.” The government also has made border agents afraid to act in a forceful manner. Case in point: the two border agents serving ten years in prison. The practice of mailing notices to illegals, that they are being deported and expecting them to leave is probably the most stupid thing I’ve ever heard the government guilty of.
The jails in this country are full of illegals - some for violent and some for non-violent acts. All but the violent should be removed from our jails, transported to the border with armed guards, and given to the Mexican authorities or set free in Mexico. Should this be done, it would save the taxpayers a massive amount of money. Raids on employers and catching massive amounts of illegals and failing to transport them immediately back to Mexico is another stupid act of the government. For instance, the raid on Swift Company - who said they used them for jobs no Americans would take… these openings were immediately filled by Americans in one day. Was the Swift Company fined for those infractions of the immigration law for as much as the current law would allow?
On another subject, the shrill cries of Democrats promoting a double standard, causing partisan ill-will and voicing unjust accusations of this country should be viewed as terrorist. They should also be prosecuted for advocating and inciting public outcry and fomenting revolution. They talk about the ideology of radical Islamists. I think they should carefully examine their own ideology. The liberal media is no less responsible than the hate-mongering Democrats. As long as you have people like Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Wolf Blitzer, and many others of that nature, there will be no cohesion of Americans as Americans. Encouraging terrorism by these poisoned pens and poison air is one of the most un-American activities there are, short of treason! I put them on the same level as Pockets Berger. If the future of this country depends on the likes of them, we are in for a very uncertain future.

I would also like to make note of a passing. At about the same time Princess Diana dies, another person died - one of the most tireless workers ever in the field of care for the sick and suffering poor. Her name was Mother Teresa. Not much was made of her passing, and in many cases of similar acts to care in the human endeavor, these people are also forgotten. If a noted public figure dies, it is widely dissminated by all the media, and nice things are said about them whether true or not. I would like to see mention be made of these individuals, even if Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Warren Buffet, or Albert Gore die. And a person of great labor in the interest of the poor or suffering should also be noted.
Dear Congress, you must be very glad you paid off the environmentalists and passed the law to restrict thinning of undergrowth in the forests and not allow forestry management to maintain a healthy forest. Now forests get to burn in thousands of acres and lead to runoffs during rainy periods to help in flooding and allow people to rebuild when their homes are destroyed. You must be very proud of yourselves.
One other thing - even though I don’t live where any of these following Republicans turn Democrat will be running for office, I would ask strong Republicans to defeat them any time they run for re-election. They are: Richard Lugar, George Voinovich, Pete Domenici, Chuck Hagel, Gordon Smith, and Olympia Snowe.
