He says it like it is - do they?

He calls it like it is!

All Scooter Libby had to do was the same as Mrs. Clinton when she was asked about certain papers by Congress and/or the courts - her answer was “I can’t recall.” What else would you expect from a lawyer and someone with political aspirations? Libby’s prosecution, to me, is one of the low points in American jurisprudence. I would like to know Fitzgerald’s motive and who appointed this judge, and what was his motive. Is Fitzgerald a relative of the mother of the Kennedy clan, Rose Fitzgerald?

Frankly, this confirms a previous submission I wrote wondering about the jury members and being peers of Libby. Frankly, I wonder about their motives. If President Bush doesn’t pardon him from this injustice, I will never vote for a Republican as President again! Clinton pardoned international crooks, drug dealers, and other scum. I am almost at a loss for words and very angry. I think it was abusive prosecution by both Fitzgerald and the judge.

I don’t believe Bert Lance in the Carter administration, nor Henry Cisneros in the Clinton administration were treated in the same manner by the press. Turned to MSNBC a couple times just to see what they were talking about - everytime they were talking about Scooter Libby. I don’t know if they ever mentioned William Jefferson or not. I don’t submit myself to MSNBC much. Look what it’s done to Joe Scarborough. Guess he has to forfeit his principals if he wants to climb that ladder.

Am going to say a few things about Nancy Pelosi’s most ethical Congress ever… she tried to make Murtha her number two, but failed. She wanted to put William Jefferson on the Homeland Security Committee instead of Jane Harman, a reasonable Democrat. Murtha is an unindicted co-conspirator in an FBI sting in 1980, and he is still in Congress - an embarrassment to the military and to his country. He becomes abusive when questioned about his earmarks. I guess his size lets him be the bully. Has that been how he has been all his life? During the sting, he said “We deal in billions!” He suggested needs of a strip mining business and several businesses in his district. The strip mining shows his environmental concerns.

The Democrats have changed the rules so that earmarks will show up without Congress’ ability to study them. When asked, Chairman David Obey said he didn’t give a damn what anyone thought. Is this the reason members of Congress of BOTH parties were so upset when William Jefferson’s office was searched by the FBI? Do they think their offices are inviolate? Is it because, like Las Vegas, what happens here stays here? Are they to be free from public scrutiny? I have a suggestion for Congress to make us all trust them more… put all earmarks on the internet where the public can check on them any time. I also believe in fairies - so, everyone… clap hands!

She's running for the green party ticket - The Incredible Mckinney

Nancy said Congress was not going to have the same culture of corruption as the Republicans, but were going to operate by a higher standard. If I had just spoken this instead of writing it, I would, undoubtably, have choked. I will say the Democrats fight for their own, such as: Alcee Hastings, William Jefferson, Jack Murtha, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, Patrick Kennedy, Cynthia Mckinney, David Obey, Dianne Feinstein, and others. The Republicans just lay down and take whatever comes their way, and let each stand on his own.

I am still confused by the prosecution of Scooter Libby. Did Fitzgerald tell the one who leaked the information to keep quiet about it while he laid a trap for Libby? Is this called entrapment or not? Ron Paul makes a statement, we should never use preemptive force - how about Libya, Panama, Bosnia, and Kosovo? Did we make a mistake in forcing freedom in Kuwait? Also, I don’t believe that Saddam Hussein should have been allowed to remain as Dictator of his country when he had killed MILLIONS of his own people, in some cases using chemical warfare.
