They’re verbose, but show no intellect

Another Democrat switches parties and votes for BushBeen listening to a bunch of super military experts expounding on President Bush’s speech and the direction he is taking in solving the Iraqi problem. Without benefit of a group of military professionals, e.g., CIA, FBI, Cabinet Advisors, or anything else to arrive at a reasonable conclusion, they have, with just the power of their super intellect, been able to say what is the best possible solution to the Iraqi problem. It is so good to have these patriots standing by and ready to hand out their advice so freely!

These patriots need to be recognized so the American citizens can be properly appreciative… Chuck Hagel, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Teddy Kennedy, Obamo Adamo, Charlie Rangel, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Dick Durbin, Russ Feingold, Robert Byrd, and James Webb. We also have the news media, both TV and priChuck and his coachnt, with their vast resources, having arrived at answers so complex that they all reach the same conclusion - it’s Bush’s fault!

They should also be recognized for their superior intellect. Here is a partial list of the high-minded entities: The New York Times, Los Angelos Times, Boston Globe, TIME, NewsWeek, US News & World Report, Slate, Nation, Washington Post, and Vanity Fair. When I was much younger, I lived in Boston and also New York city. At that time, I read The Times and The Globe. I wouldn’t even use them now to wrap fish with - that would be an insult to the fish! I also had subscriptions, off and on, of TIME, NewsWeek, and US News & World Report. Now I wouldn’t trust them to even get my address right much less to read these rags.

I lived in Atlanta when CNN came on the air. I watched it - wasn’t so different at that time than ABC, NBC, and CBS. As time went on, they all became advocates for the Democratic party. I thought that MSNBC would not turn out that way, however, they became WORSE than CNN! I switched to the internet to obtain any news balance. I do watch Fox News channel, which is fairly balanced - not as much as it was at first, but REASONABLY so.

With the drop in their circulation, excluding Fox News of course, and the loss of viewership, I would say that I am not the only one who is unhappy with the media’s attempt to form public opinion to their and the Democrat’s satisfaction - the same type of opinion molding used by the majority of college and university professors on their delicate charges. In my family, one brother was in the Marines in the Pacific during World War II, myself and one brother were in during the Korean Conflict, and another brother, staioned in Berlin during the Cold War… and not one of us or all four of us would feel we knew more than the President with all his advisors, Military Generals, Secretary of Defense, Cabinet Officers, etc. Let Bush do his job, stop demonizing him, and stop the RULE OR RUIN!
