Elitism vs Hoi Polloi

Kerry windsurfing exclaims this a great way to save fuel!Barbara Streisand tired after hanging clothes on the line all day!
Elitism
is a belief that certain classses of people have a right to favored treatment and control of others because they feel superior due to their social status or financial resources and intellect (they think). Examples below:

Barbara Streisand telling all of us Hoi Polloi, or as she thinks, the great unwashed masses or rifraff & rabble, that we should dry our clothes on clothelines because of the energy problems (I’m sure as she does of course).

Robert Kennedy Jr. Flying place to place in a private jet, then telling all of us Hoi Polloi we should not drive SUVs because of their use of greater amounts of fuel (I’m sure his private jet uses water for fuel).

John Kerry during the election, when asked about the five SUVs they were using, said “they don’t belong to me - they are my family’s”. Guess that means they don’t burn fuel. John Kerry wanting to add 50 cents a gallon tax on gas so the great unwashed masses (us) won’t drive so much because of our budget requirements (The rifraff wants to eat).

Teddy Kennedy, Walter Cronkite, John Kerry, and other elitists on Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Cape Cod don’t want windfarms in the ocean on their coasts. It would interfere with their yachting and windsurfing (yachts use no fuel). But of course mostly because most of the ocean front property and houses are owned by the common people (the working class), and they are so concerned for them. (yeah… right!!)

The elitists won’t allow drilling in ANWR off the coasts and in our wilderness parks. In ANWR, concern for the caribou, even though they have thrived and increased since the last time liberals raised their objections to drilling in Alaska, recently raised these objections again, defending ANWR and its wildlife resources.

Could it be that if gas became more inexpensive, the masses might move around too much and become less easily controlled? It’s for sure the average Joe and Jane, with their family, will not be taking a cruise to Alaska and hiring a tour of ANWR.

Hillary Clinton, on political tour, not giving a waitress a tip - I am sure she thought the waitress, like her, didn’t need that paltry amount.

Barbara Streisand, wanting to sue someone because they flew over her estate and took pictures - I guess she saw this while hanging her clothes on her clothesline (one flew over the cuckoos nest).

Teresa Heinz, with five homes in desirable locations, I am sure that only one of these are powered up at any given time to save energy (I’m sure that she is just one of us proletariats).

Another place that would be good for windfarms would be on the mountains around Vail, Colorado (I’m sure out there, they are only part of middle America!)

Elitists have managed to control a large segment of the population for a good long while. I am sure that they feel, because of their superior intellect, they know what is best for this segment. How long this segment will be controlled and used by these elitists is a question for this segment to consider.
